Later...

Riker POV

I ended up telling Curt everything. And I mean everything. I told him everything from start to finish, and he just listened to me, and didn't make fun of me or anything. And I actually felt sort of relieved for some reason, after telling him everything.

Curt was upstairs right now getting me some water. After talking for about an hour, I was really thirsty, even though I drank a ton of coffee. Which I'm still craving...

Curt came back down, and handed me the water.

"Thanks..."

"You know I'm here for you, right? All of the Warblers are here for you if you need them."

"Really?"

"Of course, Riker."

Curt gave me a much needed hug. I sighed, feeling a little more relieved.

"Is there anything I can do for you, Riker?"

"No... I actually feel a lot better now..."

"Good. If you need to talk, just text me or even come to my house. I'm usually always home."

"Ok."

"Or even if it's the middle of the night. Call me."

"Thanks, Curt."

"No problem. Are you tired? Do you want to go to bed yet?"

"Yeah..."

Curt shut off the lights, and I snuggled down in my sleeping bag.

"Night, Riker."

"Night..."

Morning...

Curt POV

As promised, I gave Riker some coffee this morning. But I gave him decaf, and thank god only one cup was enough for him. He said he wasn't craving it anymore. And it didn't make him go crazy again.

"Curt?"

"Yeah, Riker?"

"I know I'm supposed to go home in about an hour... But I was wondering if you wanted to come over."

"Sure."

"And then sleepover."

"Sure."

"It's just that... my ex is always at my house because she's friends with Rydel... And you'd be a good distraction from her."

"I get it."

"Thanks."

Later...

Riker POV

Curt and I walked over to my house together. We went inside, and I saw that Paige was in the kitchen.

"Whoa... Who's that?" Curt asked.

"It's just Paige. Come on. Let's go upstairs."

I grabbed his arm, and pulled him up to my bedroom.

"She's really pretty," Curt said, once I closed my door.

"Yeah, and she's also my ex."

"Oh, really?"

"Yes! Can we stop talking about her now?"

"Yeah."

"What do you want to do?"

"I don't know. We could go swimming."
