A few days later...

Riker POV

"Rik, Curt's here to see you," Rydel said, standing in my doorway.

"Why?"

"I don't know. But he seems... upset or worried or something."

"Can you tell him to come up here?"

"Yeah."

Rydel left, and Curt came up. He shut my door, and sat down on the end of my bed.

"Are you still dating Ashley?"

"Yes, I'm still dating her! Why are you so obsessed with my life!? You ask me that every time you see me, which is like every day!"

"Riker... Your mood is getting worse. I'm worried about you. What's been going on with you and Ashley?"

"Well... We went out on a few dates... I don't know. I tell you what goes on every time you ask me! Which is every day!"

"How much money have you spent on her?"

"I don't know. But she's not like that."

"How much money, Riker?"

I sighed.

"Around $800..."

"Riker. She's using you."

"She's not! She's like the only person that cares about me!"

"Riker, your family, me, and Paige all care about you."

"Paige does not care about me!"

"Riker, she does."

"No, she doesn't!"

"Ok, well I do."

"So what?"

"So, I'm worried. Rydel said you've been eating less."

"I'm just not very hungry, ok?"

"Have you cut?"

"N-no!"

"Really?"

He grabbed my wrists, and I let out a scream. He pulled my sleeves up, revealing my cut up wrists.

"Are you still taking your medication?"

"No! I don't like it."

"Riker, you need help."

"I don't need help! Now let go of my wrists!"

Curt let me go, and I stood up.

"Where are you going?"

"Away from you!"

I ran out my door, and went to the kitchen. I hid behind Rydel.

"Rydel, your brother cuts," Curt said, walking into the kitchen.

Rydel pulled me to the floor, and pulled up my sleeves.

"Rik, why didn't you tell me?"

"It's none of your business!"

I shoved her off of me sort of hard, and ran.

"Rik, come back!" Curt yelled.

I ran out the front door, and didn't stop until I got to Ashley's house. I started knocking like crazy on the door.

"Riker? What are you-"

I pushed past her, and ran to her living room. I curled up in a ball in the corner of the room.
