"RJ, cream dapat or light yellow." M told R over the phone, sounding irritated. "Fifteen times na nating inikutan tong usapan na to."

"Love, blue dapat. Dumihin yung cream para sa interior ng van."

"You said this was going to be the kids' van. You have a daughter too. Blue is just for boys."

"Love may sky blue naman or baby blue pwede na yun sa girls di ba?"

"Bakit mo ba pinu-push yang blue? Dahil ba yan yung recommendation nung sexy na anak ng may-ari ng shop?

"What? No! Love naman! Bakit iba na ang usapan?"

"Please, RJ, don't tell me you didn't know. She openly flirts with you in front of me and that attention-junkie who obviously wants to get in your pants really drives me up the wall." M flared out.

"Jusko! Anong openly flirts? Anong get in my pants? I wear ironclad pants na may padlock at ikaw lang ang may susi, Love. Promise."

"Hay naku, RJ...  You're so dense kasi di mo napapansin yung mga girls na ganyan."

"Kasi nga ang Menggay ko lang ang napapansin ko. Love??? Are you jealous?" R asked obviously quite pleased. M almost never gets jealous. This would only be the third time in all their years together.

"Richard Faulkerson Jr., you better wipe that smirk off your face right now. Hindi ito nakakatawa. And I'm not jealous, that woman is just plainly irritating."

"Wag ka na mag-selos, Love. Alam mo naman na selectively blind ako at sobrang loyal namin ni Rex sa inyo ni Lucy."

"Whatever, Faulkerson." M rolled her eyes.

"You do remember na Faulkerson ka na din, Love, di ba? Six years, four months, eleven days aaaaand... three hours to be exact."

"Sheeesh... Trying to win me over with your Math." M puffed out. "I have to go, Thirdy ready for school and today is Charm's first day in play school. Do whatever you want, RJ. K. Thanks. Bye." M hung up without waiting for R's response.

"Bye Love. I lo... Tignan mo to. Binabaan talaga ako?" R slipped his phone back in his pocket. "Lagot ka ngayon, RJ, tampo na naman ang Menggay mo." He said, shaking his head.

The dinner table was quieter that usual and the children took notice that their parents weren't talking to each other.

R kept secretly staring at M, nervously like he wanted to say something but couldn't. M was clearly ignoring him, talking only to Charm and Thirdy to address their questions and asking a few favors from Yaya Pepe.

C and RT ate quietly, observing R and M, throwing their curious glances from one parent to the other.

After dinner, M excused herself to go to Seb's room. C tagged along saying that she would like to sing her baby brother a lullaby. R sighed and looked down after M went out totally ignoring him even when she approached him with Charm so the little girl could give her Papa a kiss before leaving the room.

RT walked over to his Dad's seat and tapped his shoulder.

"Papa, what did you do?" He asked R seriously.

"I sort of messed things up even if I didn't mean to. Mama got mad coz we couldn't agree on what color we should use for the seats in the camper van."

"What color did Mama want, Papa?" RT sat on the chair to R's right and folded his hands together on the table.

R watched as his son's eyebrows wrinkled thoughtfully. He shook his head in amazement. Sometimes he forgets, Thirdy is just five years old.

"She wanted cream or yellow." R answered.
