"Angel, ako na diyan." M smiled as she reached her arms out to take Seb who immediately calmed down once he was in his mother's embrace. "Thank you ha."
Angel gives her the baby. "Sorry, Ate ha? Ang kalat dito. Di ko man lang natulungan si Kuya."
"Uy, ano ba?" M walked over to hug R's teenage sister. "I'm sure you did your best. Ganoon ka kabuting bata. Sige na. Ako na bahala. Magpahinga ka na muna tapos dinner tayo maya-maya."
"Sige, Ate, pero ligpitin ko lang muna yung naikalat namin sa banyo ng mga kids. Mukhang dito pa lang aabutin ka na ng hating gabi kakaayos."
M surveyed the room and their two sobbing kids. "Mukha nga. Sige. Thank you ulit, Angel ha."
"You're welcome, Ate." Angel smiled.
Angel then went to the bathroom while M entered the eye of the storm err... the playroom.
"Thirdy? Charm?" She looked at them questioningly. "Care to explain?"
"Mama!" The kids yelled and ran towards M, clinging to her waist and thighs.
Thirdy and Charm sobbed heartily and soaked her jeans and shirt through with their tears. They both rambled on with their stories about what happened earlier.
M sighed and sat down on a chair so she can talk to them face to face, making Seb sit on her lap.
"Babies, what did you do?" She asked softly as she touched each of their heads.
"Sorry, Mama." Thirdy sobbed.
"We missed you." Charm pouted, her eyes filled with tears and her nose bright red when she looked up at M.
"Aaaw... I missed you all too but look at what you did. You didn't listen to your Papa and Tita Angel. You messed up the playroom, you fought and you upset your Papa." M shook her head and gave the children a disapproving look.
"Sorry, Mama." The kids said in unison.
"Didn't I tell you, you shouldn't be fighting? You're brother and sister, you're family. Family should always love and protect each other no matter what happens or what you disagree on." M said. "You understand, right?"
"Yes, Mama." Thirdy and Charm answered.
"We're really sorry, Mama." Thirdy said.
"Kuya, I don't think I should be the one you're apologizing to." M raised an eyebrow and gestured towards Charm.
Thirdy sighed and faced his sister. "I'm sorry, Charm."
Charm sobbed. She launched herself to cling to her big brother and hug him tight. "I'm sowwy too, Kuwa."
M smiled. The scene before her made her heart swell.
"I think I want a hug too." She said and the kids were quick to stand and give her a big tight hug.
"Okay. I think I should go talk to your Papa now while you two clean this mess."
"Mama..." The kids pouted and protested.
"Who made this mess?" M asked.
