October 2023, Faulkerson Home:

M sits on the bedroom floor as she packs their bags for their trip to Tokyo for Charm's birthday.

She is busy checking her list and the items in the bags when R walks in.

"Love! Ano ba to? Wala na tayo madaanan. Ang dami naman niyan." R complains.

"Love, I'm packing for two adults and three kids. What do you expect? Tsaka mahirap na may maiwan para sa mga kids. Malayo tayo, we can't just go back para sa mga nakalimutan."

"Tama ka naman dun, Love. Patingin nga."

R sits beside M and takes the list from her. "Ganito talaga kadaming damit ang kailangan nila, Love?"

"They're kids, Love. They change clothes atleast three times a day."

"Jusko! Ganoon kadami? Pambihira. Bawasan mo, Love. Bili na lang tayo dun. The hotel has laundry service."

"So? Mas practical yun kesa magbayad ng baggage sa plane?" M raises an eyebrow.

R thinks. "Okay. Okay. Ibaba mo na yang kilay mo, Love. Hindi ako mananalo sa'yo eh noh?"

"Not in matters na napag-isipan at napag-planuhan ko na din." M says taking the list.

"Story books, Activity books, sketch pads and crayons? Love, kailangan pa ba yan?"

"It's a four hour flight, Love. How do you expect to etertain your preschooler and toddler?  You know they don't like watching videos for too long."

"Okay. Yes, you're right, Love." R sighs.

"I told you. Okay na. Wala akong nilagay dito na di natin kailangan."

"Mama, can we bwing Sophia?" Charm asks as she enters the room referring to her favorite doll.

"Yes. Of course, sweetheart." M smiles at their daughter.

"Yehey! Thank you, Mama!" Charm hugs M. "I wuv you! You the best Mama."

"I love you more. Only the best for my loves, baby." M hugs Charm back and kisses her cheek.

"Now, why don't you go and check what else you need to bring and also ask Kuya Thirdy?" M adds as she playfully pokes their little girl's nose.

"Wow! Can I weally, Mama?"

"Yes, sweetheart, but please remember that we can't bring too much okay? Just one more toy with Sophia. Kuya can bring two small toys too."

"Okay, Mama. Thank you." Charm kisses M and R's cheeks then ran off to find her older brother.

"Love naman eh. More toys? Paano na yan? Lalong dumami ang dadalhin." R frowns as he looks at the bags again.

"Bakit, Love? If Charm asked you instead of me, makakahindi ka ba?"

R pouts. "Hindi. Nakita mo yung anak natin? Napaka-cute kaya ar sobrang lambing. May makakahindi ba dun?"

"Ayun na nga, Love. And besides I told her na two toys each lang sila. I trust our kids will understand that. So relax ka lang, okay?"

"Okay, Love." R sighs. "Teka, Love..."

"Bakit, Love?"

"Magdadala pa tayo ng stroller?" R asks as he points at the baby gear in the corner of the room.

"How do you expect us to go around Disneyland and Tokyo with our four month old baby without a stroller?"

"May rentals naman dun sa Tokyo."

"Really? You, Mr. Neat Freak? Matatahimik ka to put your baby in a rented stroller? Kahit siguro thirty two times ulit ulitin sa'yo na safe at malinis yung stroller panic mode ka pa din." M rolls her eyes.

"Aaaah... Suko na ako. Okay so hindi nga ako matatahimik sa rented stroller so baby carrier na lang. Bubuhatin ko na lang si Seb."

"Bubuhatin mo? Sa buong park? At sa lahat ng papasyalan natin dun? Buong araw at gabi?" M smirks.

"Oo naman. Kayang-kaya ko yun, Love." R says pounding his chest.

"Talaga, Love? Kaya mo pa ba?"

R raises his eyebrow and stares at M intently. "What do you mean, kaya ko pa ba?"

He inches closer and closer to M until her back leans against the foot of the bed.

"I mean, you're not as young as you were, Love."

"So? You're saying again na matanda na ako?" R asks.

"No. I'm saying tumanda ka na, Love." M giggles.

"31 lang ako, Love. Hindi 81. Kayang-kaya ko pa yun. Malakas pa ako."

"Talaga ba? Patingin ng malakas. It's not like you proved that the last time, Mister." M smirks.

"Aba... Hinahamon mo na naman ako, Misis. Akala mo ba di ako handa ngayon? Handang handa ako, Mrs. Faulkerson baka magsisi ka." R looks at his wife hawkishly and wiggles his eyebrows.

"Hala siya! Sige nga. Paano ha? Akala mo din ba di ako ready, Mr. Faulkerson? Baka ikaw ang magsisi." M grins.

"Aba. Mapapalaban ata ako ah. Gusto ko yan, Love." R grins and scoops M up and carries her to bed as he kisses her passionately and M ruffles his hair while she kisses him back with equal fervor.

"Mama! I got my toys!" Charm announces from the door, raising her doll and a stuffed unicorn toy.

M pushes R away, startled. "Hey, sweetheart." She smiles as she straightens her shirt and hair.

Thirdy who is standing behind Charm looks at R then M and shrugs. "Mama, I got mine too. Just my DS and Pokemon Cards."

"Okay, hon. I'll make sure to put them in your bag."

"Thank you, Mama." Thirdy smiles. "Charm, let's go. I'm going to show you how to draw Sophia."

"Yey! Thank you, Kuwa." Charm cheers.

"Papa..." Thirdy calls.

"Yes, buddy?" R smiles.

"Close the door next time." Thirdy says shaking his head as he walks away.

M giggles as R blushes.

"Anak ko ba yun o tatay ko?" R chuckles while M hides under the sheets.❤❤❤
