M coughs as she dusts off last year's Christmas tree which she got from the stock room.

She laid out all the old decorations on the front yard and is now cleaning them off.

"Mama... What you doing? Are those for Chwismas?" Charm coughs.

"Sweetheart, go back inside. It's too dusty for you here." M waves one hand at Charm and covers her nose with the other as she coughs.

"I want to help, Mama."

"Baby, please. You can't. Just come back later when they're all clean and we can put them up."

"No buts, Charm. Come on. Don't give Mama a hard time. Let's go play with Seb upstairs." Thirdy, who was wearing an Ironman printed surgical mask, tells his little sister.

"Thank you, Kuwa. I see you came prepared. That's good coz we don't want an asthma attack now, do we?" M smiles.

"We don't, Mama. Now, let's go, Charm." The little boy prods.

"Go on, sweetheart. I'll call you when we're ready to put them up." M tells her little girl.

"Okay, Mama." Charm pouts and holds her big brother's hand as they walk inside.

M smiles as she watches her children go inside.

She then continues her task of sorting, dusting, washing and drying the decorations.

R arrives and parks the car in the driveway near the gate. He gets down and walks straight to M, who after thirty minutes into her task is now all sweaty and dirty.

"Hello, Love. Ano to?" R hugs M from the back and kisses her neck.

"Love! Stop. Ang baho ko na." M says as she tries to wiggle out of his embrace.

"You're never mabaho, Love. Wala akong maalala na kahit isang beses na bumaho ka." R grins as he pulls her closer and continues to kiss her neck and shoulder, bare from the tank top she is wearing.

"RJ! Stop it. Sobrang pawis ko na kaya." M turns to face R.

R laughs as he sees streaks of dirt on his wife's face and fondly wipes them off with his hand.

"Ang dungis mo na nga, Love but you know I don't mind yung pawis at dumi, ki-kiss pa din kita." He chuckles and kisses her nose then her lips lovingly.

M giggles. "Ang kulit mo talaga."

"Bakit kasi pinagtitiyagaan mo pa itong linisin lahat, Love pwede naman tayong bumili ng bago na lang."

"Alam ko naman, Love pero sayang pa rin itong mga to. Ang gaganda pa nila tsaka maayos pa naman. And shouldn't we be teaching the kids the value of saving?"

R sighs. "Yes. Of course, you're right, Love." He kisses his wife's forehead. "Tulungan na kita."

"Wag na. Madudumihan ka pa."

"Ayos lang yun. Mas hindi ako papayag na di ka tulungan, Love."

R then takes his polo shirt off and grabs the tree to wash it.

"Hala. Sige na nga." M laughs.

R and M continue cleaning the decorations while playing around and laughing.

"Ayan. Tapos na. I'll call the kids, Love." M announces and starts to run inside.

"Sandali, Love." R says as he wraps his arm around M's waist and stops her. "Pupuntahan mo talaga sila ng ganyan ka kadumi, Love? Shower muna tayo." He smirks and wiggles his eyebrows.

M laughs as R lifts her in his arms and walks towards the house.

"Where are you going Papa? And why are you carrying Mama?" Thirdy asks as he and Charm are going out to the front yard.

"Hey, buddy." R smiles at his son. "I... uhm... Mama got tired cleaning so I have to carry her inside." He grins as M pinches his cheek.

"So we're not decowating anymore." Charm pouts.

"Of course we are, sweetheart." M smiles as R sets her back down to the ground.

"But Papa says you're tired, Mama." Their little girl says.

"I'm not that tired, baby. I can still decorate with you and Kuya and with Papa's help everyting will be easier. Papa always makes everything easier." M looks up at R and smiles.

"Like a superhewo!" Charm cheers.

"Yes, sweetie. Like a superhero." M answers.

"Okay. What are waiting for? Let's get decorating." R grins and picks up his kids in each arm as they kick and giggle to take them inside.

M follows them with two big bags of garlands, ribbons and decors.

R&M and the kids make wreaths and hang them.

R lines up the garlands over the windows after M and the kids placed ribbons, plastic poinsettias and Christmas balls.

The kids have a fun time hanging the ornaments on the tree with M. They laugh as R lifts them one at a time over his shoulders to reach the higher branches.

And when it was time to put up the star, M gets Seb from his room and stands with Thirdy and Charm as they watch R place the golden star on the treetop.

The sun has set outside and it's starting to get darker just in time for R to turn on the lights on the tree and the garlands.

After he plugs them on and their soft lights start to shimmer and twinkle in the living room, R joins his family and hugs them as they appreciate the work of their hands.

Some ribbons are done the wrong way. The tree is a lot heavier in ornaments to the left. The garlands are unevenly decorated.

To someone who walks in and finds the way the house is decorated, it is a mess but for R&M, nothing is more perfect than the result of the efforts put in by their children.

"It's so pwetty!" Charm exclaims as her eyes sparkle with the lights.

"It's beautiful." Thirdy smiles.

"It's perfect." R says as he squeezes his family closer.

M sighs dreamily. "It's love."
