I went running to their dance practice.
I caught Vernon about to leave.
I felt nervous for some reason..
"Vernon.." I said trying to catch my breath.
"(Y/N)..." He said shocked.
"Is it true you were the one that helped me into PLEDIS?" I asked him "Please don't lie to me."
Uh? Who told-.. Uh. Yeah. It was me.."
So it was true..
"Why didn't you tell me sooner?" I asked calmly
"I.. I'm sorry. You just... Seemed like you'd be perfect being here" He said looking down not looking me in the eyes.
Lies. He's lying to me. I know it.
"Don't lie to me. I know that's not the reason. Tell me the truth."
"You promised you'd wait (Y/N).." Vernon said with tears coming out.
"What? What are you talking about?"
"ARE YOU REALLY THAT CLUELESS?!" He yelled out.
"..." I didnt say anything but just stare at him blankly
"THAT BOY 9 YEARS AGO. YEAH. THAT BOY. THAT BOY'S ME! THAT BOY YOU SAID YOU LOVED IS ME. YOU PROMISED YOU WOULD WAIT FOR ME? AND NOW? YOU'RE WITH JOSHUA?! I'VE BEEN WAITING YEARS TO FIND YOU. AND WHEN I DO FIND YOU, YOU DON'T REMEMBER ME. HOW DO YOU THINK THAT FEELS? SEEING YOU WITH ANOTHER GUY KILLS ME. EVERY SINGLE DAY I'M CRYING BEGGING FOR YOU TO REMEMBER. DO YOU UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING NOW? IM HANSOL. YOUR HANSOL." He said with tears still coming out
My eyes opened wide in shock. He's.... He's the Hansol from 9 years ago? This is why he asked me if I knew who he was? IM SO STUPID!
I couldn't say anything but cry.
"I-I'm sorry.." Was all I can manage to say and pulled Vernon into a tight hug.
Vernon pulled me away "No (Y/N).. You're with Joshua now. Just.. Leave me alone..." He said as he turned around and walked.
"I'M NOT WITH JOSHUA! WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! EVER SINCE I CONFESSED TO YOU 9 YEARS AGO I PROMISED MYSELF I WOULDN'T BELONG TO ANOTHER MAN THAT'S NOT YOU!" I said cracking my voice
Vernon turned around and stared at me with wide eyes.
He walked back to me and pulled me into a hug.
"I'm sorry (Y/N).. I love you."
We stayed there hugging for what seemed forever.
"How's my girl after so many years?" He asked with a smile.
"Missing you" I said giving the smile back.
"You're beautiful (Y/N).." He said wiping the tears.
"You're handsome" I said looking right into his beautiful eyes
