Chapter 13

It was Monday, which meant today was a school day and I'm in school. Eating alone since Lucy had practice because some competition is coming up.

I was staring outside the window when I heard a lot of footsteps coming closer to me and when I looked that side I saw the main bitch group coming towards me with an angry expression.

What's their problem? I didn't even do anything to them.

"Listen here." The 'main' leader called to me and I looked at them with an expressionless face.

"Stop trying to be all chummy with our Iori-sama! He won't even notice a girl like you! You're just being desperate by trying to walk to school with him and I'm pretty sure that he's irritated by you as well! And-"

I zoned out after that and didn't hear anything and I'm pretty sure whatever she was saying was stupid stuff only.

Suddenly she grabbed my arm and pulled me forward which made me lose my balance but before i could fall on the floor I put forward my leg and then it looked like I was sitting on the floor.

Before she could say anything, a familiar voice came near us and interrupted her.

"You shouldn't be doing this to Kim-chan." Iori said with a glare on his face as he offered a hand which I accepted and then stood by his side.

"But Iori-sama! She's being all desperate for you! Can't you see it?!" The main bitch whined in a high pitched voice which kinda hurt my ears.

"No, she's not like that. She's my step sister and I care about her. A lot." Iori explained and then the girls walked back without saying anything else.

"Are you okay? Did they hurt you?" He asked me with concern as he looked at me while placing his hands on my shoulders and I shook my head with a smile on my face.

"I'm fine, don't worry. By the way, what're you doing here?" I asked him and he removed his hands from my shoulders before his eyes widened a bit as if he realized something.

"I had to go to a teacher and on my way back I saw that something was happening in your class so I cam in and saw that you were on the floor so I couldn't help myself. And now I have to go, bye." He admitted with a cute smile as he turned around and started walking back to his class since the break was about to end.

"Wait seriously?! Oh my god! That's so cute!" Amber exclaimed as I told her about what happened in the break and she was freaking out about it as we walked towards the living room for dinner.

"Yes. Okay. Now, shut up." I told her as we reached the living room and saw almost everyone was there. The only ones missing were Hikaru, Masaomi, Subaru and Yusuke.

Wow, Natsume was here, huh? That's a change.

"Oh? We were just waiting for you both." Masaomi exclaimed as we sat on the floor since the couches were full.

"Why though?" Amber asked them as she looked at Masaomi and Ukyo for the right explanation.

"We will be going to the festival in a nearby town where Kaname has work. So we thought it'll be a good time to have a small vacation." Ukyo explained and we nodded with a little excitement present on our faces.

"So you both are free right?" Masaomi asked us and we smiled while nodding. Too much of nodding, huh?

"Yeah! We are really happy to have a small vacation and that too a festival! It'll be awe-some!" Amber exclaimed happily and I laughed and then nodded since her way of explaining was rather exciting and funny.

"Oh and Kim?" I nodded to show that I was paying attention when Masaomi called out to me.

"You can call your friends too. Nancy and Lucy, they were the ones who came over on Saturday, right? You can call them." Masaomi told us and we nodded with a smile.

The next thing that Amber said made me laugh but nod in agreement nonetheless.

"He likes her."
