Chapter 21

"Nancy?"

Nancy's thoughts were interrupted when the familiar deep voice called out her name and she looked up from her hands to see.....

Asahina Natsume.

But why was he here, in the park, near the Sunrise Residence where all the Asahina's lives?

Nancy looked up at him in confusion before she realized that she had tears on her face and she tried to wiped them off with her sleeves.

Natsume frowned, and stepped forward and bent down to her level before wiping her tears off. Nancy looked at him, blushing, because of what he was doing.

"Why are you crying?" Natsume asked in a confused but caring tone. The type of tone that made you feel safe and felt like someone cared about you, and honestly, that was exactly what she needed.

Its not that she didn't trust her best friends, it was just the time which was wrong. That's why, she knows that her friends knew something was wrong when she walked away.

Nancy sobbed before shaking her head. She didn't want to tell Natsume, out of everyone, about what had happened.

He sighed before placing his hand on her head, softly patting it and then stroking her hair all the while giving her a soft smile.

"Its okay if you don't want to tell me. But just so you know, we Asahina brothers are also there for you." He said softly and Nancy nodded with a smile, and a small blush visible on her face.

"Thank you." She softly whispered to him and gave a small smile, trying to feel better. Well, she did feel better when he came to her.

"And I feel fine now." He nodded at her words before standing up and offering her a hand, which she gladly took and stood up as well, keeping their hands together.

Natsume looked around for a few seconds before asking, "Do you want me to drop you bsck to your house?"

"No, no! Its fine, I can go on my own." Nancy insisted but Natsume just shook his head, disapproving of what she was saying.

After all, a true gentlemen never leaves a good lady alone.

"Bu-" "No 'buts', I'm taking you home, now let's go." He said and started dragging her to where his car was parked. They walked in silence and then they went inside the car, to go to Nancy's house, which she shared with Lucy.

When Natsume was driving past the park, he saw a glimpse of a girl whom he thought could be Nancy, and guess what, it really was Nancy!

"So, where exactly are we going?" Amber asked Fuuto as they entered the nearest mall. Fuuto was wearing glasses and a snapback as a disguise, because it would cause a commotion if people were to find out he was in that mall.

Fuuto looked at her and smirked a little while squeezing her hand a little bit, before replying, "How about we just eat? After all, I'm tired~"

Amber just looked at him, annoyingly, before Fuuto smiled at her in a mischievous way and then she sighed, defeated.

"Okay, but where? Because, I don't know any shops here." Amber shrugged while saying it and then looked at him, a small smile playing on her lips.

"Just follow my lead, nee-san." Fuuto cockily answered and started walking with her hand in his, together.

They soon reached the food court snd sat on the seat near the end, where a crepe shop was and a beverage shop right next to it.

"I'm gonna go order." Fuuto said and before she could say anything, or even tell him what she liked, he got off to order for the both of them.

"Seriously, what is with this jerk..." Amber shook her head and smiled when he came back to seat on his seat.

She looked at the shops before looking back at him, before asking, "What did you order for me?"

Fuuto smirked and leaned in before answering, "It's a secret~", and winked at her before leaning back.

Amber couldn't help the slight blush that covered her cheeks and looked away to hide it from Fuuto, but him being the cheeky brat he was, he noticed it and thought of teasing her just to get her to blush more.

"Aw, are you really blushing, nee-san? How cute~" He gave a teasing wink and a flirty smile before laughing because the food came just after he did that.

She looked at her side of food in amazement before looking back at Fuuto with a big smile, "How did you know that chocolate crepes and chocolate milkshake?"

Chuckling, he leaned his head on his hand before smiling at her and said, "That's because you're my precious nee-san~"

When he received no reply, he chuckled before he started to eat his own food as she ate hers.

Amber felt really nice being alone with Fuuto, on a date? She wasn't sure if it was a date herself, cause, who knows he might just be doing it for his own amusement.

Fuuto looked up and saw a bit of crepe's cream on Amber's left cheek. "Nee-san, you have something here." Fuuto said while chuckling and pointing to his right cheek.

Amber quickly wiped a napkin on both of her cheeks and saw what it was, and immediately felt embarrassed.

"Thanks....for telling me." She said in an unsure tone before going back to her food.

'This guy, I swear.' She thought to herself while shaking her head and a small smile present on her lips.
