Chapter 19

"Wake up, Kim!" Amber shouted at her dear best friend, who was sleeping peacefully on the bed while she was getting ready for her school.

Kimberly moved lazily and opened her eyes a bit and asked, "Why do I need to wake up?," before pulling the covers over her head.

Frustrated with her excuses, Amber went to the bed and pulled the covers making, making the sleeping girl whine as she sat up with a cute and sad face, in hopes of using it against her best friend to get more sleep.

Tempted to give in, Amber smiled at her before saying, "No, I won't fall for it. Now go and get changed, we all leave in 20 minutes," and walked out of the room so that Kim could get ready for breakfast.

"Finally!" Amber exclaimed as Kim came to the dining table, in her uniform, without the blazer because she doesn't like wearing the blazer.

"Morning, Kim-chan!" Ema greeted her and set up a plate of food on the table for her. Kim nodded with a smile and took a seat next to Amber- which was saved just for her.

Iori looked at her and smiled sincerely, happy to see that she wasn't skipping meals because of what had happened.

Soon enough, when the students have finished eating, they all went outside the mansion and parted ways so that they could go the their schools.

While Iori and Kim were walking, Iori suddenly stopped and that made the girl stop as well and look at him in confusion.

Iori smiled gently before suggesting, "Do you want to skip today?"

Kim's eyes brightened as she asked him in a cute voice and a big and bright smile, "We can skip?!"

"Yes, if you want to." Iori answered as he chuckled at her cuteness. As she said, she was too cute for anyone to handle.

Nodding happily, she said, "Of course! But where will we go?" Iori looked as if he was thinking before answering her.

"We can go boating, you know, for sight seeing. And then on our way back we can go to a café." He suggested with a smile and Kim nodded happily.

"Then, let's get going?" Iori said as he extended a hand towards her, which she gladly accepted and they started walking to the nearest boating place, hand in hand.

The place wasn't near at all. It took them an hour from the train to get there and then another 15 minutes of walking. But then again, they weren't complaining.

Just before they were about to go on the boat which they had rented, Kim got a message from Lucy which got her laughing a bit.

'Don't get too naughty with him :P'

Iori tried to look at the message but she quickly put her phone back in the bag.

Iori quickly got on the boat and Kim stood there confused on how to get in.

Chuckling softly, Iori extended a hard for Kim and she shyly took it and he pulled her in as gently as he could and wrapped his arms around her waist afterwards.

"Thanks." She whispered to him and they both sat down. Iori took the paddles and started paddling them and the boat started moving.

Kim looked around in awe with a big smile and Iori couldn't help but smile at her as well. "Is this your first time in a boat?," he asked her.

With a smile and facing away from him, she replied, "No, I went boating a long time ago. More than 10 years ago I guess."

"Then, I'm glad I got to ride it with you." He said with the gently smile which made girls melt inside. Well, Kim wasn't an exception.....

"Thanks for making me come here, I really appreciate it." Kim said with a smile and Iori nodded her at.

"I'm glad you're enjoying." "Of course! The view is amazing! I love it!" Exclaimed the excited Kim, who was happy to come here.

The rode on the boat for some more time before they got off and started walking to the nearest café which was open.

"How are you feeling now?" Iori asked her as he took a hold of her hand while they walked in search of the café.

"I'm better now. And thanks again." She smiled and he shook his head with a smile and squeezed her hand lightly.

They again walked hand in hand till they reached a nice and cozy café and entered it and then took a seat while Iori ordered both of their foods which was 2 different pastries and 2 different teas.

"You are okay with Chocolate pastry right?" Iori asked and she nodded with a smile, "It's my favourite!"

"I ordered that for you, along with tea." Iori told her and she nodded and soon enough, the pastries and the tea came.

Both of them started started eating their pastries when Kim noticed he was staring at her pastry. At least, that's what she thought.

So she took a piece of it in the fork and guided it in his direction with a shy smile. Iori looked at the piece and then her and when she nodded, he took the piece in his mouth with a smile because doing the same for her.

"Thank you." Kim said after letting him feed her a piece of his pastry, which was also delicious.

When she took another bite of her own, Iori laughed a bit and she looked at him with a confused face.

He leaned in close to her face before using his hand to wipe off the cream which was on the corner of her lips and then leaned back.

"Oh." She muttered out, embarrassed that Iori had seen and did such a thing for her. Seeing her flushed face, he couldn't help but chuckle at her adorable-ness.

Oh, how fun it was for both of them to skip school together and go on a 'date'.
