you're their song writer and he likes you

 Michael:

  The boys all rolled into the studio where you had been all night working on a new song for them. They were all excited the second you called them because you always came up with amazing songs for them. "So, will this make us love you even more?" Michael asked as he took a seat beside you just like every other day. You smiled over at him and waited for the others to sit down. "It's called Beside You." You told them and they all smiled over at you. "Were you by chance listening to Marianas Trench when you wrote this?" Luke laughed and you shook your head, still smiling. "Here, read it." You handed them the sheet of paper where lyrics were written all over it. You weren't finished yet, but it was a start. "This is really good." Calum said as he continued to read through the lyrics. A smile crept onto your face and you leaned forward. "It's basically about missing a girl and not being with her when all you want to do is be with her, you know?" You asked them and they all nodded their heads. "So, like how Michael misses you when we don't see you for a day or two?" Ashton said with a smirk and you looked over at Michael who was bright red and hit Ashton multiple times. You gave him a small smile and rested your hand on top of his, causing him to look over at you in shock. "What about for the next line..." Calum began as he started to suggest lyrics for the song.  

 Ashton:

  "It's just me today, (Y/N)." Ashton said as he came into the room, putting his bag at the door and sitting down beside you. "Great! I wanted to work with you on this song. I've had some troubles and I know it's difficult when you boys are all together to focus on something, so it's better if just one of you were here to help." You told him as you gave him three sheets of paper that you had started to scribble down song ideas and lyrics on. "Voodoo Doll?" He asked you with an eyebrow raised. "I was watching a movie and it came to my mind why don't I write a song about it!" He laughed as he began to read over the lyrics. "Tell me where you've got your voodoo doll cause I can't control myself, I don't understand another way but I'm trapped under your spell - hey, this is really good!" He turned to you and gave you a smile. "Is it? I wanted to run it by you guys first before just getting you guys to go off and go record it -" "You talk too much." He took your face in his hands and kissed you. You were taken back by his forwardness, but kissed him back. He broke the kiss and looked at you, running his fingers through his hair. "Sorry, I've wanted to do that for a while." He chuckled nervously and you nodded your head, still in a daze from the kiss. "Oh, no problem." You smiled at him causing him to smile back at you. You silently thanked the boys for not coming today and leaving you and Ashton here.  

 Calum:

   "Tour was amazing." Luke smiled. The others were too busy eating to talk to you about the tour so you and Luke were having a conversation. "Oh! Right!" You smacked your head and reached down into your bag and pulled out your book. "While you guys were gone I wrote a few songs." You smiled at them. The others all stopped eating and turned their attention on you. "Just for that, lunch is on Calum." Michael said as he nudged Calum's shoulder. "Um, no?" He turned to Michael who winked at him. "I'm sure you wouldn't mind paying for (Y/N)'s lunch, now do you?" You looked at the two of them with a confused look, but brushed it off. "I think my favorite is Out Of My Limit." You told them as they all took a look at the book, looking through the pages full of lyrics. Ashton was holding the book and stopped turning the pages once he found Out Of My Limit. Or so you assumed. "It's like you wrote this song for Calum." Luke said as he took the book from Ashton's hands. You knitted your eyebrows together, completely confused. "Does he like someone out of his limit or something?" You asked him and they all looked over at Calum, then over at you, nodding their heads together. You looked over at Calum who gave you a smile before ducking his head down and eating the rest of his food. Luke handed you back your book and you saw the words 'He likes you' scribbled on the bottom of the page.  

 Luke:

  "You never wanted to be rescued, but now we're drifting away." You sang around the room, stopping when you heard the door shut. "What are you singing?" You heard a deep voice ask. You immediately recognized it as Luke's and you turned around, revealing Luke and Calum looking at you. "New song?" Calum asked you and you nodded your head with excitement. "Yes! I really like it. Although the beat I was singing it in probably won't even be how it goes, but I just wanted to sing it." You giggled and ran to grab the sheets of paper for them to look at. "I finished it last night. I really hope you guys like it." You told them as you handed them the song. "We'll take it back with us and show Ashton and Michael later then." Luke smiled at you and you nodded your head. "This is really good actually." Calum said as he read through the song. You grinned excitedly. You were just happy they liked it. Maybe not as much as you did, but they still liked it. "You never seem to fail us." Luke said to you as he looked up, giving you a smile. You started to shake with excitement. "I really try hard to make these songs happen and - oh my god!" You turned back around and grabbed a pen and paper and the two of them laughed at you. "Song idea?" Calum asked you and you nodded your head, scribbling 'Try Hard' on the top of the paper. "I'll stay and help you." Luke said as he sat down in the chair beside you. You smiled over at him and you heard Calum laugh. "Yeah, I'll just go so you two can be alone." You looked over at Calum confused then he winked and left the room, leaving you and Luke together.
