Expect The Unexpected (H-Town)

F R A N C E! We're going to France today! I grabbed the handle on my purse as I ran to find a seat to wait to board our flight. The girls seemed annoyed by how excited I was.

"It's six in the morning! Who the hell would be excited at this time of the morning?" Stacey asked plopping down into the seat.

"Obviously me." I said rolling my eyes.

"I'm excited too!" Leah said. "None of us have ever been to France. Bordeaux, France is beautiful from the pictures I've seen. Heard it has a beautiful shopping area." Leah said catching both of our attention.

"Shopping?" Stacey and I said in unison.

Leah laughed. "Yes, shopping. Plus we all like culture so we could check some of that out too." Leah finished.

"You had me at shopping!" Stacey said causing us all to laugh.

"I wish the guys could be here." I said kinda sad.

"We are here!" Kadeem said hugging Stacey from behind. She squealed in excitement.

Leah jumped up to hug Leonce. I sat there awkwardly because my fiancé isn't here. But I know he's out there living his dream out.

"What are y'all doing here?" I asked once they sat down.

"Well Stacey was telling me about how y'all planned these trips and we decided to tag along. You don't have a problem with that do you?" Kadeem asked.

"Why would I have a problem with it? Same way y'all plan on having fun, so do I. The more the merrier." I said forcing a smile.

"This trip about to be bangin!" Leonce said kissing Leah.

"Flight 37A to France is now boarding." The announcer said. I jumped out of my seat almost forgetting my purse to board the flight.

"This is gonna be a long trip!" I thought annoyed already.

*Landing*

We finally landed in Bordeaux. We went to baggage claim grabbed our things and tried to hail a taxi. After that 9 hour flight, I'm ready to go to bed!

"I don't think I've ever sat in one position for so long! My ass literally hurts." Leah complained.

"I'll fix that later." Leonce tried to whisper to her.

I rolled my eyes even harder but I felt Stacey tugging on my shirt.

"Yo, are you good? Earlier you were excited to come here and now all I'm getting from you is attitude." She said folding her arms across her chest.

"I'm fine Stacey, just tired." I told her but I knew she didn't believe me.

She rolled her eyes "OK, if you say so." She said walking away.

After 10 minutes of hailing down 2 cabs, we arrived at the hotel 30 minutes later. I grabbed my belongings and paid the cab driver.

"Merci mon amour" *Thank you love* I told him before he pulled off.

We went into the hotel and checked in. The girls now wanted to get separate rooms with their guys. That left me with a hotel room to myself but I wasn't complaining.

They left me and I got on the elevator with this cute French guy. We eyed each other for a bit before I moved to the other side of the elevator.

No Kaedi! You love Dino! Bad fiancé!" I thought mentally slapping myself.

"Tu t'appelles comment?" *What is your name?* he asked.

"Kaedi. I don't speak French very well." I told the stranger.

He laughed a little. "That's a pretty name for a very pretty woman. I'm Abel by the way." He said sticking out his hand.

I shook his hand and the elevator came to a holt. "And this is my floor. Nice meeting you by the way." I said grabbing my stuff and heading off of the elevator.

"See you around Kaedi." He said in that sexy accent. Even his smile was fucking amazing!

"Get it together chile!" I thought shaking my head.

"Bye Abel." I gently smiled as the elevator doors closed.

I briskly walked to my hotel room and opened the door with the card key. I dragged my stuff in letting the door close behind me. I turned on the lights and then plopped on the bed.

"Oh dear God, please don't let me get into any unnecessary antics!" I quickly said before drifting off to sleep.
