"Views"
Picture of Ridge Above.

I jogged down the steps and grabbed a flashlight off the counter while I looked around for Ridge. I saw the half-filled bag of food before I heard a screech from the garage & my head darted towards the noise and I mindlessly ran towards it.

The door was open but the lights were off.

I flipped the switch expecting the light to fill the room but all I got was frickin electrocuted and a dark room. I sighed and walked into the room.

"Hello?" I whispered. I heard a whine and immediately I darted in that direction, assuming it was Ridge.

I tried to light up again but I failed still not in control of whatever I had.

I jumped back as I heard something crash. I turned on the flashlight as my wings flapped, their freedom of will growing to annoy me.

I shined the flashlight in the corner where I found bodies everywhere. They all looked like the things from before but seemingly not fully dark yet, some still looking somewhat..human? I stepped back and shone the light in the opposite direction.

I gasped but slapped my hand over my mouth once I saw Ridge punching the things in the face and quite literally ripping their limbs off.

He looked over at me his eyes glossing over with concern, still killing the last one.

"We need to go again...."

I nodded, no doubt audibly swallowing and walking towards the door.

I shuddered as he walked past me with a still face.

"Don't worry I'd never hurt you."

I walked closer behind him regardless of the fact he just killed about 20 of those things, in an odd way sort of feeling protected.

'Who is this guy?...'

I grabbed my bag and a bag of chips before realizing my moms' car wasn't in the garage.

"Ridge! Her car was gone! She's not dead!" I yelled

He turned confused and grabbing the food bag.

"Who?"

"My mom you idiot," I informed.

He nodded seemingly still confused.

He sighed and held my hand seeing I was ready.

"Let's go." He said softly, smiling down at me.

I raised an eyebrow confused and a little shy just then realizing how many times he'd saved my life.

"Okay."

He closed his eyes as did I before we were gone.

I almost fell not expecting to land in a field again.

I stabled myself and Ridge quickly retracted his arms, letting go of my waist as he was the only reason I didn't fall.

I blushed at the sudden touch and he looked down at me for a moment before scratching his head and shaking away a thought he seemed to be caught up in.
