"Ridge and Jinx Hit the Road Part 2"

The picture is of Ridge's Apartment

Jinx POV

I pinched myself making sure this was happening.

'Well, I guess we got the book to work...'

Ridge spoke up, "So, the book is...talking to us?"

I shrugged looking at the page still stained with 'As you wish' under my name.

"This like some Ouija board stuff." Ridge joked

"No, it's not alive or anything its just...a book, right?"

Ridge took the book from my hands speaking to it as I did, "Are you alive??" Nothing appeared instead the previous text disappeared.

I sighed running my hand through my hair tugging the ends frustrated. "What the heck? I SOLEMNLY SWEAR I'M UP TO NO GOOD! I DON'T KNOW NOW WORK!"

Ridge looked up at me from the book, worried, "Hey, we'll figure it out just be patient..."

I sighed looking at him for a moment trying to believe him before gently taking the book back and flipping through the pages as I found new text on the last page. "This book is driving me nuts..."

It read,

Do you wish for your password to be "I solemnly swear I am up to no good?"

I showed Ridge before speaking again, "Password for what?"

Text appeared,

With this password set, all of your questions and requests will be secure and visible no one else other than you.

I replied, no and the pages flipped back to the front page where the previous text was. I didn't waste any time asking another question, "Who are you?"

I, The Book of Requirement am a what not a who. I serve Jinx Finnic Kingsley, the co-founder of the Woken Hunters. I can shift into any form of matter you require. I will answer only to your request.

"Who are the Woken Hunters?"

That is for you and Mr. Fiske to find out.

"So you'll like shapeshift into like a car or something if I'm out of gas??"

No, I am much more important. You will see when the time comes...

"Who is the other founder?"

I can not reveal more into the future, I apologize.

"So, basically you're like the Room of Requirement in Harry Potter?"

I suppose so, yes.

The phone started ringing and Ridge quickly answered, as I closed the book and shoved it back into my messenger bag.

"Yeah, thanks. We are heading down now...Thanks, bye."
