Alden was in a middle of a tvc shoot around 12pm noon when he received a text from her wife.

Maine, on the other hand, now 6 months pregnant was on a maternity leave. Both she and Alde didn't wanna risk the life of their unborn child so they both decided it to be that way.

As much as Alden wanted to be with his wife and look after her 24/7 he can't because the management says its not a good time for him to use his paternity leave and besides, he still has to work for their family.

He surely didn't like that idea so he dialed Maine's number. She answered after two rings.

"Hey, what's up?"

"What's up ka dyan. You are not going out of that house, menggay ha"

"Aba ricardo wag mo kong mine-menggay dyan, eh anong gusto mo? Maburyo ako dito sa bahay?"

"Babe, you're on your 6th month na. Its a bit dangerous to go outside na walang kasama"

"Pinapaalala ko lang po na di na po ako PAYB years old. Kaya ko po sarili ko"

"Syempre alam ko yun, pero love walking around, playing pokemon go and not minding your surroundings is definitely not safe"

"I'M NOT GONNA PLAY POKEMON GO KAYA!"

Alden can't help but to let out a sarcastic chuckle. He knew Maine even by the sound her breathe.

"Oh really? Talaga?"

"Uhm...okay, its partly true!"

"See?"

"But I'm gonna meet Jennica din, my high schoold friend. Dyan lang kami sa may starbucks"

"Hmmm. Okay, but please don't play pokemon go while driving and click 'im a passenger' okay, love?"

"Yes boss. Okay do your thing na. Bye! See you at home"

"Okay, bye. I love you"

By the end of the shoot, Alden made his way home. It has always been this way, he gets home at the instant that his commitments are done. Gusto niya palagi siyang nasa tabi ng asawa.

When he got to their house, he heard sobs coming from upstairs. It wasn't just sobs, it was Maine sobs. He quickly ran up to their room and saw his wife weeping.

"Hey, why are you crying?"

"*sobs* the movie... *sobs* made me.. *sobs* cry"

Her wife said pointing to the tv screen which he didn't notice was playing because he panicked.

He turned around to see that she was watching.....spongebob.

"Babe, that's spongebob. How can that be cry-worthy?"

"Eh kasi that's the episode where Sandy misses her home in texas. I feel sad for her"

He read about this. Its normal for pregnant woman to have this hormonal mood changes. So instead of laughing or getting irritated. He just hugged her and planted a kiss on her forehead.

"You will never feel that, love. I'll always make sure that your home is with me"

Alden assured her wife.

"I know, love thank you"

"Lighten up na. You're my big ball of sunshine diba?"

She nodded. "And you're just a ball"

"A ball?"

"Yes. A ball. Bumibilog ka na eh" teased by her wife.

They laughed and joked around and laughed again. Laughed an laughed as if there was no tomorrow. They didn't remember who fell asleep first. Was it her? Was it him? Doesn't matter, because as long as they are in each other's arms, they are home.
