"I know what love is!" Chiara  said, "love is...Gianluca Ginoble!"
"Wrong!" I said, like we were playing a game. "Or is that really the reason why you put this gun on me? And why you tie me up and why you kidnap me? Is it?" I asked, but of course I knew the answer. She was the devil and she expels anything that has to do with love!"

She roled her eyes again. "I'm tired of explaining you things you won't understand!" she said. But if there was one person who really needed some lessons in 'understanding' it was Chiara. She really needed to know the real meaning of 'love', and I hoped it would be soon enough, before she could kill me. Talking about love, I really missed Aline. You might think that there's no time to think about that on such a moment but I really did. Almost every second I saw her face in my mind. I thought heard her voice in my head and saw her smile and I was so scared something happened to her. I wouldn't survive that! Then I would give Chiara the permission to shoot a bullet through my head. But I didn't know where Aline was, or what had happened to her so I still had some hope there happened nothing at all with her. I even had the feeling Chiara really didn't know where Aline was and that could calm me down somehow. But still not entirely. I needed to see Aline, I needed to hold her and then I could be a happy man again.

"So...baby," Chiara said, using a new way to call me, "what's it gonna be? Option one? Option two?" I totally forgot about that. I had to choose and it seemed it was for real this time. "If I follow you, how are you gonna make sure I will not run away! Or better, how are you gonne make sure I'll tell you I love you! Because on this point...nah, I don't!" I said like I really had to think about that for a second. "Plan C.2... I will always find you! You are a superstar and a lot of people know you! Everywhere you go, people take pictures of you, because you're a beautiful boy!" she smiled. She had a point, I could never be unfindable. Maybe in Antarctica, but nobody lives there because it's...freezing cold. But if I had a chance to go there with Aline, I would think about it.

"Besides, I have some other plans to find you when you leave. I did my preparations, don't worry! For example, if you run away, I have a punishment for you! ...I'll find Aline and kill her!"
I didn't know what I felt exactly when she said that, because two things went through my mind. The 'killing-part' made me furious but Aline was still alive! Otherwise she wouldn't have said that. Maybe it was a mistake and she said it without thinking. But I was so happy, it was the sign I wanted. I had to live! For everything is a solution! That's what I said to her years ago, now I say it to myself. "Gian, live as long as possible if Aline is still alive!" I thought. And it was a promise I made to myself that I would keep for the rest of my days.

"One!" I said resolute. She seemed surprised. "Option one! Good boy!" she said, like she gave a compliment to a dog that did a trick. I wondered what she would do next. Make a free man from me again? I mean, at least not tied up to a chair. But nothing happened. She looked at me without saying things, only smiling, enjoying the moment. Because she now had what she wanted. I used that time to think about my decision. And I had one big possibility to ever make a real end to it all. And that was killing Chiara! But then I would be a murderer, what was of course so wrong. I was not born to kill people. It is the opposite of who I am and who I wanted to be. But maybe it really was the only real solution. Maybe I had to call the police and tell them everything? But I had no idea my life would be normal in the future since I choose the to follow the devil. Would she give me a phone? She would never leave my side, for sure. And what if she ever goes to jail but they let her go, or worse, she escapes? Then she would find me. She would find Aline. "I cannot let that happen!" I thought. I needed to find a way to kill her. Maybe that gun, she pointed to me now, would be a helpful weapon. "I thought option one was one without killing me?" I asked quickly, suddenly hesitating whether I picked the wrong option by coincidence. "Yes," she said calm, "but I was just imagining how it would be to kill you!" I suddenly realized again, the person in front of me was crazy and evil. She could just do whatever she wanted. The part of letting me decide was of course a big lie. I felt the fear now. This time it was for real. I never saw a weapon up close and now it was right in front of me. "Don't be afraid my love, I won't hurt you!" she said with her fake, evil smile. And then her lips were on mine. I couldn't go anywhere. How I wished I could run away from the worst moment of my life. The kiss lasted way to long and to my surprise, at the end of it, I heard a loud thump...
