It all went so fast! The first millisecond I was happy to see her, relieved as well. It was like coming home. But only for such a short time. The rest of the seconds after Aline had kicked in the door (and I was surprised she could even do that), I filled with worrying about her. She didn't look at me, maybe such a short time, I didn't even notice it. She immediately jumped on Chiara after she yelled something like 'stupid bitch, don't dare to touch Gianluca ever again!" and started fighting. It was really a bitch fight. Well, not a fight between two bitches. But the fight between a very friendly, sweet girl with the upper-bitch. They pulled each other's hair almost literally of their heads. I wished I could do something more than just watching and hoping Chiara wouldn't kill Aline for real. Luckily the gun left her hands because she had no control anymore. Aline's attack came as a surprise for both of us. So actually Aline was doing it very well. I never expected to see her fight like that ever in my entire life. But she did. And it was all for me. She was basically risking her own life for me!
A few seconds later, Piero and Sofia appeared in the door opening, I mean on the place that used to be a door. They seemed exhausted, like they came as soon as possible. Also for me as well! To rescue me and that gave me a tiny feeling of happiness on such a cruel moment. When they saw what was going on, they instantly took action. Sofie saw the gun lying on the floor and ran to it as if it was a case of life and death, which it was for sure. Piero tried to stop the girls, but I only had someone more to worry about now. Chiara hit him hard in the face with her fist, on a place that would be all colours of the rainbow very soon. Aline had already a lot of scratches on her face as well. From the sharp, ugly nails Chiara had. But to my surprise, Aline was so good in fighting. She didn't give up. She hit Sofia several times with every leg and every arm she had. Piero obviously couldn't stop them. But then Sofia took action again. "STOP!" she yelled, pointing the gun to Chiara. At least that was what I hoped, because we didn't know Sofia long enough to really trust her like one of our own. Piero stood next to her. And so we all watched the girls' fight come to an end. The first thing Aline did was giving me a worried look. I felt the connection between us and that made me feel slightly more at ease.
"Well, well, well...look who's here!" Chiara said to her twinsister. It was clearly a 'long time no see'- situation. "I didn't expect to see you again, after all those years. But I'm glad we met each other on this nice Saturday morning. Sofia didn't say a thing at first. She seemed in shock. The gun was not really stable in her hands. She shivered. "Oh come on...Chiara...why are you always so mean?" she then said, asking the thing we all wanted to know so badly. "Maybe because you were always so...sweet! Too sweet, too friendly. Well, actually just enough to make me have aversion to love. You always got the most attention when we were kids. Do you understand how difficult that was for me?" It was a question but no one answered. We all listened to what she had to say this time, because of course, she always had an explanation. "We were TWINS!" she said, articulating at the last word. "Twins! We were...we are the same and we had to be treated in the same way! But it seemed everyone liked you more than me." Then some other people appeared in the 'it's not a door anymore'-opening. Jonas and Carlotta stood there with the same facial expression of Piero and Sofia. Surprised, shocked, angry and a little bit afraid about what would happen next. "Please be welcome in my beautiful home, take a seat and watch the show!" Chiara smiled. "You're insane!" Jonas said angry and walked closer towards Aline. I was so happy he did, so Aline wouldn't stand alone right there, in all her pain and with all the blood and scratches on her body. "Where was I, oh yes...you were always the favorite one. And I was just myself, like you were yourself. But still, no one talked to me first. No one really looked to me. "Maybe you needed to change that personality of yours. There's a reason why they all liked me more than you!" Chiara seemed really angry now. "There's nothing wrong with my personality! It's great. I wouldn't want to swap with anyone else."
"Then it's you're lucky day because no one wants to swap with you!" Piero said, and he was right. "Enough said! Are you gonna shoot me or what?" Chiara asked a bit angry to Sofia, who still stood there with the gun in her hand, pointing to her own sister. "Of course not!" Chiara answered her own question. "You're too weak! You are too sweet! Too friendly!" Sofia seemed to be afraid. I was afraid too. I never wanted to see someone be murdered in front of my eyes, not even if she was the devil. Besides, could Sofia really handle that gun? What if she missed? "Come on sis! Do it! I don't have time all day!" Everything Chiara said was insane and made no sense! "You see! You'll never do it! Maybe your boyfriend, well I suppose he is your lovely boyfriend, has more courage to do it." We all wondered what Sofia would do. It was still her own sister. And if she indeed was like us, she would find it very very hard to kill someone. "Why don't you do something? I think it's boring here. By the way, congrats with that boyfriend of yours. He's living proof of the things I just explained. You have an 'Il volo-boy' as a boyfriend and I have nothing." Well, I thought she always got what she wanted. Then suddenly Ignazio stood there with next to him a few police officers. "Put the gun down! NOW!" one of them yelled to Sofia. They clearly thought she was the bad half of the twins. And it made her shiver even more but of course she obeyed immediately. "She's not Chiara!" Piero screamed in panic. He now stood right in front of her to protect her. He immediately grabbed her hand so they were one team. "That's her!" Piero said then, pointing to Chiara with his other hand. "Is that true?" the police officer asked to her. Of course she did what she wanted and just lifted her shoulders. But everyone else in the room could confirm it was her. "You are coming with us!" he said and the other police officers walked towards her. After a few seconds she was handcuffed and ready to go. She didn't even make it difficult for them. It seemed like she expected something like that to happen. Like she found rest. It was all very weird. "Ciao ciao everyone, have a nice day!" she said sarcastically and then she looked at me, and I hoped it would be the last time I had to see that bitchy face. "Ciao amore mio! Ti amo! Un bacio per te!" she said and she blew a kiss in my direction.
She was gone, the police had taken her with them. What a morning. And right after they left, Aline ran towards me and gave me a long hug. She didn't let me go for a long time. After that we kissed and I was so happy I finally felt her lips on mine again so I could forget Chiara's kiss as soon as possible. Hopefully she would be in jail for a very long time.
Aline and I were back together! Finally! And I'll never let her out of my sight again! "I'm so relieved you're still alive!" I said. Because for a while I thought she might have killed you!" She seemed to feel sorry for me. "Oh no! That's so sad! If I knew that, I could maybe have given you a sign or..." "No no, it was good like this! Imagine what she would do if she saw the sign too! But now tell me, where were you? I mean this morning? And why were you here alone?" She smiled as if the answer would be ridiculous. "I just needed to go to the toilet," she laughed. "But when I came back I saw you and Chiara walk in the direction of the exit. I realized she could have a weapon so I carefully followed you. I took the car and followed Chiara's car but of course not too close because what would have happened if she noticed?" I was sure there could have been some more disasters if Chiara noticed Aline. "I'm so happy you did! I'm so proud of you!" I said. She smiled a bit shy. "But now, eh...can you maybe..." She saw me looking at my arm and legs. "Oh of course! I'm so sorry! I forgot!" I laughed a bit, because I just thought she was too cute. She felt sorry for every little thing she did. She was so down to earth, so sweet. What a contradiction with Chiara. Even if she did the worst things someone could do, Chiara didn't feel a little bit sorry for it. Nothing at all. She even enjoyed it. I realized I was so blessed I met Aline a few years ago. She was litteraly a gift from heaven! And she was mine! Forever!
