We danced all night till the early morning. After that most of the guests went home or to their hotel. Luckily Gianluca wasn't a drinker so we could go home without needing someone else to drive the car. "Signora..." he said when he opened the door for me. "Grazie!" I said in an elegant way before blowing him a kiss.

"Ciaooo!" Jonas screamed already, even though the car hadn't even started. A lot of people had already left but the people who meant the most for us, wanted to stay until we left, to wave us goodbye because tomorrow we were going on our honeymoon. Since I chose the song for the first dance, Gianluca had chosen the destination for the vacation. I was sure it was going to be a wonderful place.

Since we drove a cabrio and the weather was still good, it was a very pleasant ride. The wind blow in my face and made me calm again because after such a long day full of partying, I still was quite energetic. Another thing that could make me calm, was Gianluca's angelic voice when he turned the radio on and started singing the first song that was playing. By chance it was one of Frank Sinatra, one of his favourite singers.

"Weather-wise, it's such a lovely day!" he sang, which was luckily true.

"You just say the words and we'll beat the birds
Down to..."
and then he changed the sentence from the song in something he made up. "Somewhere beautiful where we're gonna spent some time together!" he said very fast so it fit would fit in the song. Then he sang the rest of the song.
"It's perfect for a flying honeymoon, they say
Come fly with me, let's fly let's fly
Pack up let's fly away"

"Ooh...I'd love to go there!" I laughed when it was only music for a few seconds. "I've never been there!"
We both laughed because of course I didn't know about what destination he was singing. But I was going to know it very soon!

It was really a magical night. How perfect was that song for ending a day like this? It was so peacefull and perfect for 'cruising' the streets of Italy. It made me smile the whole time. I knew that was what I would be doing the next days on our honeymoon too! And I was quite sure I would smile the rest of my life if Gianluca, my husband now, was with me! Even only thinking about him could make me smile like that.

We arrived at our home. After taking all the presents out of the car, we sat down on the couch. But Gianluca immediately stood up again. "Take my hand and follow me!" he said. "As your wife, I think I can't refuse that order now!" I laughed. "Indeed signora Ginoble, you shall obey and do whatever I ask!" he said while we were walking to the garden. "No problem signore!" I giggled.

Gianluca's POV

"Look how beautiful the sky is!" I said. I embraced her while we were both looking in the same direction. I stood behind her so she couldn't see I was actually more looking to her than the beautiful sky. "So beautiful!" I whispered in her ear. How was it possible someone could be like her. How was it possible I even found her! Out of all the girls in the world I found her without even looking for someone. She just was there and it was clearly the best day of my life! At second thought, it wasn't...because THIS was the best day of my life. Today I'm sure she chose me too! On the very first day I saw her, I didn't even know she liked me too! So yeah...that makes it obvious...this is the very best day ever! But again...at second tought...I realized a lot more beautiful moments were yet to come! And I would think it a lot more times...that THAT day, so some beautiful day in the future, had been the best day of my life!

One day later

Aline's POV

"But why don't you wanna tell me where we're going?" I asked curiously.
"You know why!" Gianluca teased me.
"Yeah...I know. Surprise surprise!" I said, playfully bored, but of course it was very excited and I think he was right to keep it as a secret. That made it more magical probably. But I didn't need to wait long before I knew in which direction we were going. "So it's still somewhere in Italy?" I shouted excitedly because of course I didn't want anything else. "And not Sicily, not Sardinia, not Abruzzo anymore...also not Rome? But where are we going then?" I said. But he kept quiet and only smiled, enjoying how much I seemed desperate to know where we would stay the next two weeks. Two weeks only the two of us!
