All Mine

Chapter 6

Harry's POV

I felt out of place standing in the white room. Dad was sitting by Mum's bed and the doctors scrambled around her. Maddy hadn't let go of my hand, I got the sense she was scared as I was. Mum still hadn't noticed I was standing there but I didn't want to be an annoyance either.

"Harry," Dad said his sad eyes looking straight into mine.

"How is she?" I asked.

"Fine," He said. The doctors were panicked but no one knew the technical lingo they were speaking.

"Trish, come see this!" A tall blonde doctor said pointing to the screen that showed my mother's stomach.

"Oh My God!" Trish said her expression went from shocked to excessively happy. I looked at Maddy, she had no clue either.

"Trish I want you to find out who took the previous ultrasound!" Trish ran from the room to the foyer where I heard her ask for another doctor.

"What's happening?" He yelled as the wanted doctor ran to Mum's side.

Dad was freaking out, "What's going on?" He demanded.

"Um well, your baby..." The nurse trailed off.

"Yeah, what about her?" Mum asked, a rush of hope washed over me.

The Chaos calmed down a little and every doctor and Nurse was smiling. "Mrs and Mr Moore I am terribly sorry about before, I've made a tradgic mistake," The wanted doctor said, his face flushed red and he looked as though he could pass out, "Your Baby..."

Mum cut in, "Bella?"

"Yes Bella," he began again, "She is alive! The ultrasound was faulty," he said, "I'm so sorry, this has never happened before."

Mum cried, happiness overwhelmed us all. I turned to Maddy and embraced her in a hug. "I'm so happy for you," She said tears streaming down her face, I wiped them away.

"I can't believe this!" Mum yelled. A smile that I never thought I'd see for a long time took over her features. "Bella," she said stroking her stomach. Dad on the other hand was angry.

"How could you make this mistake?" He asked his tone raspy. He only spoke like that when he was truly angry; I was a little scared to be honest.

"I am so sorry, but I am right now, you can hear the heartbeat." All the nurses and Doctors in the room about eight in total nodded and it seemed that was enough to convince Dad and the anger quickly disappeared. He planted a kiss on Mum a sight I usually avoid but now it was beautiful.

"Mum!" I said pulling Maddy along with me I bent over her bedside and kissed her cheek.

"Oh honey, I knew your father rang you, I am so sorry we interrupted your class," she said. That would be Mum, she has the biggest scare in her life and only thing she cares about is pulling me out of class.

"Mum, its fine. Trust me," I say pulling Maddy to my side, I wrap my arm around her waist. Dad looks at me, "This is Maddy, our neighbour," I say introducing her. Mum seemed happy to see her. That was a reason she was cautious to move here, she thought I would find it hard to make friends. If I never had Maddy she would of been completely right.

"Hello sweetheart," Mum said stroking Maddy's hand that rested on the bed frame.

"Hello Mrs Moore," Maddy said, I rolled my eyes at 'Mrs Moore'. I laughed.

"Please honey, call me Emily," Mum smiled at her and Maddy smiled back.

"Hi, I'm Oliver," Dad said giving her a hug. God Mum and Dad are happy today.
