Freshman

Hi guys, I'm back from camp, well I have been for a while actually. I also started school the very next day I came back, so that's why I haven't been able to update.
Anyway, this year I am a freshman in highschool. I know I'm with the big dogs now, but know one really told me being with the "big dogs" would be so hard. Starting school coming straight back from camp was so hard.
One reason is because school had already started, so I had already miss two days of school work. I was so lost and confused my first few days. Then the next week I found out I was already failing two classes, which I'm used to getting A's or B's most of my life. I was also missing camp and my camp friends and worried I might not be able to go back this year. So to sum it up I was a mess.
Lately in church we have been reading about the Israelites in Exodus, and them being now free from the Egyptians. I can imagine the Israelites being lost, confused, frustrated, and tired. Just like I felt going back and starting  school. The thing is God was still there for them and still is here for us. God helped the Israelites by providing a pillar of cloud by day, and a pillar of fire by night to guide them. God provided food and water for them, and a safe path to walk.
God can still and is willing to help us this school year with whatever problems may come up. He will provide whatever you need just like He did with the Israelites.
God has already begun helping me. I asked Him to help me bring my grades up and He helped me with the criteria I was given. I now have an A in the class I was failing. God can help you has well. All you have to do is bring it to Him, and know that you can't do it on your own. Know and trust that God has everything under control.

Remember this verse as you continue with your week: "Be still and know that I am God.I will be honored throughout the nation. I will be honored throughout the world." Psalms

Thank you for reading. I pray that everyone's week/ year goes well. Have great day!!
