Over the past year I've been struggling with thinking that I was going to lose my faith, and wander. I was completely miserable, but one talk with my mom truly helped. She told me," God's not going to give up on you."
I believe someone needs to hear this message. GOD IS NOT GOING TO GIVE UP ON YOU!!!!
Jesus went through pain, persecution, torture, and so much more. He persevered through it all. Even when people had turned their backs on Him. Jesus didn't give up on us then, and He won't now.
I was fasting a few days ago and I was listening to Lecrae earlier, and a lyric from the song ' Gotta Know,' stuck out to me. The lyric is," 'Cause if you get me, I know that you got me.' What I think this lyric is saying is that once God gets us, when we give our lives to Christ, He's not going to let us go. If He fought, so hard for us to have a relationship with Him, why would Jesus just let us go once He got us? He's not!
God will supply the strength and perseverance we need to continue in our relationship with Him. All you have to do is ask. Jesus has also given us a wonderful book , in which we could learn about Him and His truths. Don't forget to thank Jesus for His strength and the Word He gave us to learn from. If any of you are struggling with this pray and ask God to deliver you from this type of thinking. Ask Him to renew your mind and help you to understand in your heart and mind that He lives you and that He's not going to give up on you.
I challenge you guys when you wake up in the morning, and before you got to sleep at night to say out loud: JESUS LOVES ME AND HE IS NOT GOING TO GIVE UP ON ME!!!
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39
