This past weekend I got sick, and I was out of commission for the past two days. Throughout those two days I learned something. Sometimes God is just calling us to rest. He wants us to take a break from all of the stress and busyness. He wants us to put down the phone, computer, laptop, remote, game, etc. He wants us to rest in His presence, and not stress and worry. So, enjoy those moments of peace and quiet , the sick days, the snow days. Enjoy the moments that you can sit still in God's presence. Thank Him for all He's done in your life, and thank Him for the quiet moments you get to spend together.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28
