Lately in Bible Study we have been studying the apostle Paul who was once name Saul.Paul had created a lot of chaos in his time. Paul loathed Christians, so he attacked and killed them as his job. One night on his way to another town with the intent to murder any Christian there, Jesus stopped him as he was nearing the town. See, a light flashed from heaven which blinded Saul, and then he heard a voice it was Jesus. Acts 9:4-6 Jesus said "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?"
5 "Who are you, Lord?" Saul asked.
"I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting," he replied. 6 "Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do."
If you read verse 5 Jesus called Saul out by his as name. He didn't call Saul out on his sin. He didn't say "Oh hey murderer." He called Him by his name. God isn't going to call you out on your sin. He will call you by your name because He loves you. Jesus died on the cross so that we maybe free from sin. Why would He call you out on your sin if He wanted you to be free from it? So don't worry God still loves you no matter what you have done. He will always call you by your name. Also remember to always go to God and confess and ask for forgiveness for the sin you have committed. If you want to read more about Paul check out Acts 9: 1-19 or the rest of the New Testament ( He wrote most of the New Testament).
