A few weekends ago I was watching clips from the movie, Passion of the Christ. While, I was watching I just started crying, the actors and directors truly capture what it was like for Jesus. He did all of this for us, he was tortured, whipped, beaten, spat on, called names, betrayed, pierced, etc. He did this all for us! All because of His passionate love for us!
Now I believe someone needs to hear "God loves us so much that He gave his one and only unique Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life, " John 3:16. That verse as most of you know is directly from the word of God, He loves us this much and more.
Prayer: Dear Jesus, thank you so very much, for the sacrifice you made for me. Thank you for persevering and keeping on that horrible and painful road. Thank you for not only dying for me, but coming back to life again three days later, and winning the great victory and battle against sin and death. Thank you that it is so, that I may experience a life with you, have a relationship with you, and experience all the glorious riches you have in store for me. Thank you for helping me carry on and grow in my relationship with you. I love you Jesus! In your name I pray, Amen.
