Ch 3 Testing Jaden

Jaden awoke the next day and was ready to go to class and he was about to wake up Syrus when Yubel appeared. Yubel said "Jaden I have a question for you." Jaden said "shoot Yubel." Yubel said "say you were in love with Alexis, would you still love me?" Jaden said "Yubel, I will always love you but Alexis did so much for me at this school the only way I can repay her is to give her my heart." Yubel smiled and thanked him for she know knew that her feelings were good and that Jaden did like Alexis he just never said it to her.

Meanwhile in class Alexis was explaining what a spell card does then Crowler turn to ask another question and he or she picked on Syrus. He then stuttered and Crowler made fun of Syrus for not knowing what a field spell does. Jaden then told Crowler that it was not cool to disrespect others and that he was not going to let his friend be bullied by the like of Crowler. Alexis watched Jaden closely and she wanted to know if he could help her find her missing brother and that she would do anything for his help but she wanted to see if he was as strong as he was. So she planned on dueling him when the opportunity comes along.

And so happened it did come in the form of Syrus Truesdale. He showed up at the girls dorm as Alexis, Jasmine, and Mindy were bathing. Syrus turned a deep shade of red and ran away but was captured by Alexis in her bath robe. Alexis and the girls were talking and they said they should turn him in. Alexis said "I think we should test Jaden and see if he is as strong as he says and look." The girls agreed.

Jaden was then awoken by Yubel and he then said "I now remember what happens now." Yubel said "what do you mean." Jaden said "Syrus was given a love letter by Crowler believing it to be Alexis so I am going to wait for the message from Alexis but I am going to duel her in a different location." Yubel said "I will help if you want?" Jaden said "I think it is time for me to use you in a duel I haven't used you since Nightshroud. Then his PDA went off and he was ready to duel Alexis."

Alexis said "hello Jaden. We have your roommate and a if you want him back then you need to meet me at the lake on in the girls dorm." Jaden said "I am not falling for your trap. I will duel you but I want to duel you in private and it will be only you and me and nobody else. If I lose then Syrus can be your guys butler. But if I win then you let him go and he goes off free got it." Alexis was thinking 'Jaden is so commanding, bad mind, bad.' Alexis answered and agreed to his turns. Alexis said that she would duel Jaden and that if she won Syrus woul be their butler for a year.

Jaden was at the docks and then he saw a figure appear from the woods. He knew that it was Zane and he wanted to get him fired up to duel. As Jaden was leaving he made sure to run into Zane. Jaden said "hello Zane I hope that one day I get to duel you. And you will not have an undefeated streak will end soon enough." Zane looked at the boy and just smiled at him for being brave enough to go up against the best at DA at he moment. Jaden then ran to where he told Alexis to meet.

Jaden appeared out of the woods and said "sorry for being late I need to do something first." Alexis said "Well you can't keep a girl waiting too long can you." Jaden said "enough talk lets duel." Alexis said "game on." Jaden said "get your game on." Yubel appeared and said "I haven't heard that phase in a long time."

Alexis said "my turn, I draw. I summon Etoile Cyber in attack mode (1200atk). I end my turn with a face down." Jaden said "my turn, I draw. I play Dark Fusion to fuse Avian and Burstinatrix to form Evil Hero Inferno Wing in attack mode (2100atk). Now I play Graceful Charity to draw three cards but discard two. Now I play Monster Reborn to bring back Yubel in attack mode. Now I play flute of Summoning Kurioh to summon Winged Kurioh in defense mode. Now I attack your Etoile Cyber." Alexis said "I play my face down Double Passe to make it a direct attack and my monster can attack you directly."

So Alexis took 2100 points of damage while Jaden took 1700 points of damage. Jaden ended his turn by giving up Inferno Wing to keep Yubel on the field. Alexis said "my turn, I draw. I play Polymerization to fuse my Blade Skater and my Etoile Cyber in order to fuse Cyber Blader in attack mode (2100atk). Now seeing that you have two monsters on the field my monster has its attack doubled. Now attack Yubel and give me my victory." Yubel took the hit but was not destroyed and then Alexis was hit by Yubel and she lost the rest of her life points.

Alexis said "how are you so strong." Jaden said "I am just an average person who loves to duel." Alexis smiled and said "well a deals a deal and we will let Syrus go. But Jaden I have a question for you." Jaden said "go ahead." Alexis said "would you meet me at the lighthouse before school starts?" Yubel then appeared and laughed. Yubel said "Jaden waking up early that was a good one." Alexis giggled and Jaden said "I see that you heard Yubel. So you can see duel sprits as well."

Alexis said "yes I can and I we will talk more tomorrow if you can make it." Jaden said "I would never leave a friend so wait for me when it is time to go to the lighthouse ok." Alexis smiled and said "till tomorrow. We have much to discuss and I may need your help." Jaden said till tomorrow I will see you later Alexis." So Alexis walked away and released Syrus and then hoped that Jaden could help her find her missing brother and would bring him back to her and make her happy again.
