Ch 7 Jaden vs the Paradox Brothers

Alexis was worried that her new friend Jaden would be expelled. But Jaden reassured her that whoever Crowler chooses that he will fight and win till the end. Jaden didn't know it yet but Alexis was starting to fall for Jaden. Jaden was prepared to duel the Paradox Brothers but he knew that it was going to be a tough but he knew that Neos and if need be Yubel as well. So the day that everyone had wanted to see because people had heard that Jaden had beaten Zane. Zane had also used Power Bond so they were stunned to here about a new kid beating the king of DA.

Jaden was ready for the duel that would decide whether or not he stays or goes home. Jaden entered the main arena with silence. Then the pair of duelist showed up that was Paradox Brothers and they were ready to duel. Jaden was ready to duel but he knew that if he lost he would never meet Hassleberry, Jesse, Jim, Aster, or Axel. He also had to win to keep the school and they world safe as the light will come along. Not to mention the darkness and Yubel will come along to destroy the world.

Jaden, Para, and Dox said "game on." Jaden said "my turn, I draw. I my Neo Spacian Glow Moss in defense mode (900def). I play two face downs and end my turn." Para said "my turn, I draw. I summon Jirai Gumo in attack mode (2200atk) I end my turn." Jaden said "my turn, I draw I summon Neo Spacian Dark Panther in defense mode (500def). I now play Graceful Charity. I get to draw three cards but I must discard two. I end my turn." Dox said "my turn, I draw. I summon Kaiser Sea Horse in attack mode (1700atk). I play Tribute Doll to tribute Para's Jirai Gumo to summon forth Kazejin in attack mode (2400atk) I end my turn."

Jaden said "my turn, I draw. I play O - Oversoul to summon Neos from my graveyard. Now I play field spell Neo Space. Now Neos gains 500 attack points. Now I join Neos my Dark Panther and Glow Moss with Contact Fusion too fusion summon Elemental Hero Chaos Neos (3000atk). Now my monster gains 500 attack due to Neos and for this turn only all monsters effects on your field are negated so Neos attack Kazejin. Now I play my face down Contact Out to defuse my Neos into the three that formed it. Now Neos gains 500 points due to neo space."

Both of the Paradox brothers were worried. Jaden said "I now attack your Kaiser Sea Horse. Now I will have my Panther attack Para directly then my Glow Moss attack Dox. I end my turn." Para said "my turn, I draw. I play one card face down and end my turn." Jaden said "my turn, I draw. I play the spell card, Card of Sanctity to draw till we all have 6 cards in our hands. Now I do contact fusion to fuse Neos and Glow Moss to summon Glow Neos Now I play R - Righteous Justice to destroy your face down. Now Neos attack Para directly. Now I play Contact Out to de-fuse my Glow Neos. Now Neos end this, attack Dox directly."

Jaden had won the duel and was very happy that he did and then Yubel appeared to tell Jaden that she is proud of him by beating the Paradox brothers without taking any damage. Yubel then said "Jaden what are you going to do next?" Jaden said to his duel spirit "I am going to sleep and get ready for the next day when we need it. Oh ya the next day I remember what happens so the duel should be fun to watch for you." Yubel said "I look forward to it."

The next day was a duel between Chazz and Bastion and the duel would decide if Chazz stays at the blue dorm or Bastion moves up. Chazz draws "Chthonian Soldier" and subsequently Normal Summons it (1200/1400) in Attack Position. He then Sets a card.

Bastion draws "Hydrogeddon" and subsequently Normal Summons it (1600/1000) in Attack Position. "Hydrogeddon" attacks and destroys "Chthonian Soldier" (Chazz 4000 → 3600). Since "Chthonian Soldier" was destroyed by an attacking monster and sent to the Graveyard, its effect activates, inflicting damage to Bastion equal to the Battle Damage Chazz took (Bastion 4000 → 3600). Since "Hydrogeddon" destroyed a monster in battle, its effect activates, allowing Bastion to Special Summon another "Hydrogeddon from his Deck (1600/1000) in Attack Position. The newly Summoned "Hydrogeddon" attacks directly (Chazz 3600 → 2000).

Chazz draws. He then activates his face-down "Call of the Haunted" to Special Summon "Chthonian Soldier" (1200/1400) from his Graveyard in Attack Position. As Chazz Special Summoned a monster with 1500 or less ATK, he activates "Inferno Reckless Summon" to Special Summon all monsters with the same name as the Special Summoned monster from his hand, Deck, or Graveyard. After that, Bastion must select one monster he controls and Special Summon all monsters with the same name as the selected monster from his hand, Deck, or Graveyard. Chazz Special Summons two more "Chthonian Soldiers" from his Deck (1200/1400 each) in Attack Position while Bastion selects his "Hydrogeddon" for the effect of "Inferno Reckless Summon" and Special Summons a third "Hydrogeddon" (1600/1000) from his Deck in Attack Position.

Chazz then activates "Chthonian Alliance", equipping it to "Chthonian Soldier" and increasing its ATK by 800 for each monster with the same name as the equipped monster. There are three ("Chthonian Soldier": 1200 → 3600/1400). The equipped "Chthonian Soldier" attacks and destroys a "Hydrogeddon" (Bastion 3600 → 1600).

Bastion draws "Oxygeddon" and subsequently Normal Summons it (1800/800) in Attack Position. "Oxygeddon" attacks and destroys one of the weaker "Chthonian Soldiers" (Chazz 2000 → 1400) ("Chthonian Soldier": 3600 → 2800/1400). The effect of "Chthonian Soldier" activates (Bastion 1600 → 1000). One "Hydrogeddon" then attacks and destroys the remaining weaker "Chthonian Soldier" (Chazz 1400 → 1000) ("Chthonian Soldier": 2800 → 1200/1400). The effect of "Chthonian Soldier" activates (Bastion 1000 → 600). Since the "Chthonian Soldier" Special Summoned via "Call of the Haunted" was destroyed, "Call of the Haunted" is destroyed too. Bastion Sets a card.

Chazz draws. He then Tributes "Chthonian Soldier" and discards all the cards in his hand in order to Tribute Summon "Infernal Incinerator" (2800/1800) in Attack Position. Due to the effect of "Infernal Incinerator", it gains 200 ATK for every monster Bastion controls. Bastion has three ("Infernal Incinerator": 2800 → 3400/1800). "Infernal Incinerator" attacks "Hydrogeddon", but Bastion activates his face-down "Amorphous Barrier" to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase as he controls three or more monsters.

Bastion draws "Bonding - H2O" and subsequently activates it to Tribute his two "Hydrogeddons" and one "Oxygeddon" in order to Special Summon "Water Dragon" (2800/2600) in Attack Position ("Infernal Incinerator": 3400 → 3000/1800). Due to the effect of "Water Dragon", the ATK of all FIRE Attribute and Pyro-Type monsters become 0 ("Infernal Incinerator": 3000 → 0/1800). "Water Dragon" attacks and destroys "Infernal Incinerator" (Chazz 1000 → 0).Yubel laughed at this and was pleased that Chazz lost but Alexis was getting a different vibe from her and wanted to ask a question or two. But that would have to wait till the next time because the day was almost done and Alexis smiled at Jaden and he gave Alexis the signature smile which made Alexis' heart race.
