Ch 34 Broken Heart

Atticus was talking about how he was going to enjoy the next year at DA. Alexis and Jaden also were happy that they were going to have another fun filled year at DA. Jaden asked Alexis if she wanted to go anywhere just the two of them. Alexis said that they should go to the mall and see if there was anything to do there because the mall normally had something there to do almost every day. So they decided to walk to the mall because it was not a long distance from the Rhodes house. They went inside the mall and went at it.

Alexis was passing by a dress shop and looked in the window to see what was on display and Alexis' eyes lit up when she saw the dress. Jaden looked at Alexis then she decided to walk away from the dress so she wasn't tempted to where or buy it. Jaden had a wonderful idea and he dragged Alexis into the store. He asked the store manager if he could have Alexis try on the drees in the display case at the window. The manager got not the one on display but the exact duplicate of the dress.

Alexis was forced to put on the dress and when she showed it off to Jaden he nearly fell over. He was stunned by her beauty and the dress was just magnificent. Alexis then vanished to change back into her normal clothes. Jaden walked up to the manager and asked to purchase the dress without Alexis knowing. So Jaden paid quickly and then went back to the changing area and Alexis came out with the dress folded and she was about to hand the dress back when Jaden stopped her. Jaden said "I bought the dress for you Alexis so lets keep looking at other things."

Alexis said "why Jaden? Why would you buy me an expensive dress such as that?" Jaden said "I saw your look when you saw the dress and I knew you wanted it so I did it as an apology for you being attacked by that duel spirit." Alexis said "you didn't need to apologize for that but thanks for buying me the dress." Then they saw that it was around closing time for the mall and they left and it was night time and Jaden was smiling that Alexis was happy as ever because of the dress.

Then Jaden saw a couple of shady looking guys walking toward them. Then as they meet one of the guys pulled put a gun. He pointed it at Jaden. The dude said "give me the girl and you can live to see another day ok." Jaden didn't move but said "why do you want the girl?" The dude said "because she is a fine looking girl and she could definitely my ho." Jaden gritted his teeth and was about to attack the dude with the gun. The other members looked at Alexis and one said "I want a piece of her she is high quality."

The gang was all pleased that they had found a girl of high quality and beauty as well. Another one of the members said "she will be a great addiction to our little girl group am I right. All the members nodded. The one that had the gun said "ok boy leave now so the girl can come with us." Jaden said "no, I will not let you take my friend and let you guys rape and enslave her." The guy holding the gun said "well I tried playing nice but you forced my hand."

The guy holding the gun pulled the trigger and it hit Jaden square in the chest and Jaden fell back and was barely moving. Alexis watched as the boy she loved was shot and then she lost all control. Avatar had taken control of Alexis and Yubel could only watch as Avatar did something to the gang of boys. Avatar materialized and said "you dare attack my king you will pay." Yubel screamed at Avatar to stop but he was already in action. Avatar used is power to engulf the boys in a shadow and all the boys screamed in pain then utter silence.

Then Yubel floated to Avatar and said "that is enough. Now go back to where you belong." Avatar said "every well lady Yubel but I will have my revenge on you but first the king must live." Avatar then went back into Alexis' soul but Alexis was out till Yubel took physical form and awoke Alexis. Alexis looked around and saw Jaden on the floor bleeding. Alexis got her phone out and called 911. They arrived in minutes and the took Jaden on the stretcher and Alexis was told to stay but she refused and went with the ambulance to the hospital.
