When I Call Your Name

. Weeks go by and Lindsey's condition doesn't improve. He remains in a coma and the doctors still think there is a high possibility of brain damage. Lindsey may never awake and if he does he may not be the same person.

  Stevie has taken this incident with Lindsey as a wake up call. After spending that first day in the hospital with Lindsey she went home to find a Jimmy still partying with several people on the fringes of their circle. Stevie decided right then that this is enough.

  The party goers are sitting in her living room with a plate full of cocaine and all kinds of other drugs and paraphernalia. She tells them all

  "I want everyone out of this house right now!"

  "Take all of this with you!"

  Jimmy responds

  "What the fuck Stevie, what's the matter with you!"

  Stevie replies

  "Ive had enough of this Jimmy, you get these people out of here and I want you to leave too."

  "I need to make some changes in my life and all of this has to go!"

  Jimmy says

  "Are you talking about you and me too?"

  Stevie responds

  "I'm afraid so, Lindsey's sick and in the hospital, he's going to need me."

  Jimmy retorts

  "I knew it you've never gotten over him, fine but don't call me when you run out of coke!"

  Stevie says sadly

  "Goodbye Jimmy, I'll see you around."

  Jimmy and his entourage leave. Stevie makes sure they take all the vices of her former life with them.

  Once everyone is gone, Stevie finally goes into her bedroom and collapses on her bed. She starts to cry and laments

  "What have I done, Why have I been living like this?"

  Stevie thinks back to 1975. She remembers making Lindsey take her to see the new Dianna Ross movie Mahogany. Oh poor Lindsey how he hated that movie! But he sat through it all just for her. She thinks about the theme song from the movie

  Stevie starts to sob. In 1975 her and Lindsey were madly in love. They were up and coming stars in their new band Fleetwood Mac. They had their whole future ahead of them.

  Now Christmas day 1981 Lindsey has tried to kill himself. And she is a pregnant junkie addicted to cocaine.

  Stevie Nicks decides she most definitely does not like what life is showing her. She certainly has not got what she was hoping for. These things she knows.

  Stevie decides right that moment she will clean up her life and be healthy. She will have this baby and hopefully Lindsey will recover and want to be the baby's daddy!

  Stevie covers herself with the blanket on her bed. She decides first thing in the morning she will call her mom and tell her about Lindsey and being pregnant. The next thing will be setting up some drug treatment for herself. She will be healthy for her baby.
