  2016

Stevie wakes up and notices the other side of the bed is empty. No surprise there, her husband is an early riser. She puts her robe on and goes out on her bedroom balcony. The midday sun shines over the ocean as the warm breeze blows through her hair.

Stevie feels familiar arms wrap around her. She smiles as says

"Good morning my love or should I say good afternoon?"

"She hears her favorite voice say

"I think good morning is more appropriate for you Angel, your my little night owl!"

Lindsey turns Stevie around and kisses her like it was the first time.

  Stevie sings

My love for you will never grow cold
My love for you will never grow old

  Lindsey counters

Oh she takes my breath away
Oh I'd bleed to love her

They both laugh then Lindsey says

"I have coffee and and a glazed donut waiting for you down stairs."

  Stevie whines

"You know I can't eat those Linds, you shouldn't be either!"

  Lindsey laughs and says

"Oh come on its Wendy's birthday, let's indulge a little!"

Stevie smiles. It her baby's thirty third birthday today. How time flies she thinks. She follows Lindsey downstairs and has that donut and coffee. As she enjoying her snack, she let's her mind slip into time passages.

Barbara steps next to Stevie and says

"This is a breathtaking view, you have a beautiful home."

"What a wonderful place for a wedding!"

  Stevie smiles and says

"Mom this is the happiest day of my life, I'm so thankful!"

  Barbara responds

"Lets get you ready and take you down to your father."

  Present day

Stevie feels a tear slip down her face. She misses her parents everyday. Suddenly she feels Lindsey's finger wipe away her tears. He says

  "Thinking about your parents Angel?"

  Stevie replies

"Yes I miss them so much!"

"I miss your parents too Lindsey, I loved them so much"

  Lindsey responds

"I know we've lost them and Greg but Chris, Jeff and Lori are still here."

"Not to mention Wendy, Patrick and Evan, and Jessica comes by to see her aunt all the time."

Stevie still can't believe Wendy and Patrick have been married eight years. Evan is going to be five and he's the light of his grandma's life!
