  1996

  Lindsey opens his eyes. He stretches his legs and tries to get up but feels dizzy. He lays back down and looks around the room. It is very unfamiliar, hospital like setting. He thinks back to last thing he remembers.

  1981

  Lindsey's Mercedes is slipping under the water. The cold water has sobered Lindsey up, he is trying to unbuckle his safety belt. In a panicked state, Lindsey tries to open the door but it won't budge. The water is starting to cover his face, it's so cold. As he goes under he thinks about Stevie and thinks he can hear her talking to him. Then nothing but black.

  1996

  Lindsey starts to panic, what the hell has happened to him? He manages to swing his legs over the side of the bed. Lindsey knows this isn't where he belongs he's getting out of here!

  Lindsey tries to stand up and take a few steps but his legs are so wobbly! A nurse walks into his room and says

  "Mr Buckingham, your awake!"

  "Let me help you."

  The startled nurse helps Lindsey sit on the side of his bed. She tells him

  "Please stay here Mr Buckingham I'll go get your doctor immediately."

  Lindsey nods and lays back down. Within just a few minutes the nurse returns with a doctor. He says

  "Hello Lindsey, my name is Dr Pettit."

  "This is Jan the nurse in charge of this floor."

  "It's good to see you awake, you've been asleep for sometime now."

  Lindsey says

  "We're am I?"

  Dr Pettit answers

  "Your in Madonna rehabilitation hospital in Beverly Hills."

  "Can you tell me the last thing you remember?"

  Lindsey responds

  "I was just trying to remember, it's seems I had a car accident on Christmas day."

  "I thought I died, I kept hearing voices."

  "I thought it was Stevie talking to me."

  Dr Pettit says

  "Stevie does visit you often as does your family."

  "I sorry to tell you this Lindsey but you have been in a coma, your brain must of been repairing itself all this time."

  Lindsey asks

  "How long have I been asleep."

  Dr Pettit responds

  "Almost 15 years."

  Stevie has just gotten up for the day. It's about 7 am and she needs to get breakfast ready and the coffee on. She has never liked early mornings but has done better at it since becoming a mother.

  Stevie goes down to the kitchen to get started but finds that Karen has a fresh pot of coffee made and pancakes ready to eat. Stevie tells Karen

  "I really don't pay you enough, your a life saver!"

  Karen replies

  "I'll remember you said that now drink your coffee, I'll go see if Wendy is up."

  Stevie responds

  "If you can get her out of bed then you definitely deserve a raise!"

  Karen just laughs and heads up to Wendy's room to rouse the teenager. Karen goes upstairs and knocks on Wendy's door. She says
