My Sad Endings

~Chaos~

The madness inside my head was getting worse. The cuts on my wrists were getting deeper. The scars, so many scars. I look in the miroor. My hair was a mess, my make up was running, my eyes red from crying. A knock was heard on the door.

"Honey are you alright?" My mom asked from the other side. I look at myself again and tears dropped from my eyes.

"I'm fine," I told her, even though it was a lie. I open the medicine cabinet and look for my mom's pain killer's and grabbed her other prescription drugs. I stuff them into my pocket and walked out. I brush my hair and changed into a pair of black jeans, a red shirt, and my blue hoodie. My door opened.

"Can I drive you to school?" My mom asked. I looked at her and smiled.

"I'd like that," I said. She smiled and went downstairs. I heard her grab her keys and go start the car. I grab the pills from my pj pants pocket and put them in my coat pocket. I put on my fur boots and grabbed my bag, knowing I don't really need it, but took it anyway.

I walk downstairs and looked at the pictures on the wall and thought, 'No more pictures to be hung.' I look at my dad who hugged me.

"Love you Haily." I look at him.

"Love you too dad." It was my last time saying anything to him. I didn't want him to think I didn't love him, because I did. I loved my family. I walk out the door and went to the car and got in. My mom pulled out of the driveway and down the road. The ride wasn't long, but it made me think.

I was scared to do this, but I needed to, so I could get away fom everything and people won't have to worry about me anymore. My mom pulled up to the drop off area.

"Have a good day at school Haily. I love you," my mom said.

"I love you too mom. So much," I told her. She looked at me for a second and then let me go. That was close. I got out and looked at the building. I walk ahead and head inside I pulled my hoodie over my head and walked to my locker, not looking at anyone. I open my locker and put my bag inside.

"HAILY!" I look up to see my best friend Samuel. I tried my best and smiled at him.

"Hey," was all I said. He looked at me with concern.

"You okay. Your eyes are red."

"Oh it's nothing. I had an eyelash in my eye this morning. Took forever to get out," I lied. He nodded.

"Okay. Well hey I'll let you go freshen up since that's what you do every morning and I'll grab us breakfast," he said. I nod and waited till he was gone. I bought a water bottle from the vending machine and made my way to the bathroom. I locked myself in a stall and took out the pill bottles.

People normally don't come in the bathroom when it's morning so I was lucky they won't hear my bottles opening. I opened the first one and pour all the pills in my hand. I was shaking. Debating if this is what I wanted to do. I lift my hand and pour the pills in my mouth. I take my water and down all of them. I start crying. I take the other bottle and do the same.

Banging was heard on the door and I cry louder. The door opens and I heard screaming.

"HAILY open the stall door now!" I heard Samuel scream. But I didn't do it. The door came off the hinges and I look up to see Samuel. He looked at the pill bottles. Tears filled his eyes and he rushed over to me.

"WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO YOURSELF!" He screamed at me. I didn't do anything. I looked at him and cradled his face with my hand and smiled.

"You don't have to worry about me anymore. No one does. You'll all be happy once I'm gone," I told him. He shook his head and I placed my lips on his, giving him a short and sweet goodbye kiss. "Thank you for caring about me. I love you Samuel."

I could feel the pills working. Samuel started shouting for help. I could hear sirens in the background and someone pulling me out of the stall, carrying me. I open my eyes and look around one last time. I looked at the student's, the walls, and the ceiling.

I could see a bright light. I wanted to follow it so I did.

"Haily, stay with us sweety. Fight for us," someone said. I felt myself being placed on a soft cushion. I felt around for a hand and found one. It was Samuel's. I kept following the bright light and in that quiet moment you could hear my last breath... and I was gone.

The chaos has ended.
