~Blue Butterfly~ (Fanfic of Life Is Strange)

I could see the storm as we reached the lighthouse. The wind blowing harshly, rain pouring down, everything being destroyed. I look at Chloe. She looked scared.

"Max it's time," she said. All of this was my fault. I had recently discovered I can go back in time. I had messed up with time. I had gone back to far and caused this mess.

"I don't know what to do," I told her. She looked at me and sighed.

"The only thing you can do is to go back to the time you saved me from almost getting killed. You have to let me die," she said.

"Chloe I can't do that to you. You're my best friend. I can't lose you."

"Max look at the town. It's going to get destroyed if you don't do anything. A lot of people will die. For gosh sakes I can't let my family die. What about your parents Max?" She had a point. I look at the growing tornado. It had gotten bigger.

"You have to promise me that this will work," I said. She smiled, her blue hair blowing with the wind, her beanie keeping all of it down. She walked over to me and looked me in the eye. She leaned in and I could feel her lips against mine.

I place my hand on her cheek and continue to kiss her. Her arms snaked around my waist and I pull away. She hugged me and I look at her.

"I love you," I said. She smiled.

"I love you too, and Max Caulfield? Don't you forget about me." I nod and she gave me the picture I had taken the day she was almost shot. I look at her once more and focus on the picture. This was it. Goodbye Chloe Price.

I was back in the bathroom and took the picture of the blue butterfly. I look away and heard Nathan barge in. This was it. What I had been waiting for. I couldn't save her.

The gunshot was made after they had argued and I had slide down the wall crying. She was gone.

My best friend... was gone.

I'm sorry Chloe.

As I heard people shout and scream I stared at the butterfly that was flying around. I stare at it more and realized, it was Chloe.
