~The Audition~

~Not really sad, but I was watching X Factor emotional auditions and thought I would write one and it's different because she's actually singing the whole song and I wanted there to be a crowd so yeah~

I was nervous and excited at the same time. I watch as someone didn't get to move on to next round of auditions. I was up next, but I had to wait as the judges took their break.

"Star Davidson?" I look up to see the producer of the show.

"Yes?" I ask.

"You're up next. Please follow me," the man said. I take my guitar and follow the guy. I was now backstage and I saw how big the crowd was. It was packed. I was counted off and I walk onto stage while everyone was clapping.

"Hello, what's your name?" I look over at Simon and smile.

"My name is Star Davidson."

"How old are you?" He asked.

"I'm 18."

"That's pretty young. So why do you want to audition?"

"I use to sing when I was in high school. I would sing all the time with my sister," I told him.

"How old is your sister?" Mel asked.

"She would've been 15."

"Oh no... what happened?"

"2 years ago my sister found out she had a tumor in her brain. They tried to remove it, but they had to stop, because it would've killed her. Last year she passed away and I'm here for her."

"What song have you chosen?" Simon asked.

"I've decided to sing Million Reasons by Lady Gaga."

"Well then, take it away."

"You're giving me a million reasons to let you go
You're giving me a million reasons to quit the show
You're givin' me a million reasons
Give me a million reasons
Givin' me a million reasons
About a million reasons

If I had a highway, I would run for the hills
If you could find a dry way, I'd forever be still
But you're giving me a million reasons
Give me a million reasons
Givin' me a million reasons
About a million reasons

I bow down to pray
I try to make the worse seem better
Lord, show me the way
To cut through all his worn out leather
I've got a hundred million reasons to walk away
But baby, I just need one good one to stay

Head stuck in a cycle, I look off and I stare
It's like that I've stopped breathing, but completely aware
'Cause you've given me a million reasons
Give me a million reasons
Giving me a million reasons
About a million reasons

And if you say something that you might even mean
It's hard to even fathom which parts I should believe
'Cause you've given me a million reasons
Give me a million reasons
Givin' me a million reasons
About a million reasons

I bow down to pray
I try to make the worse seem better
Lord, show me the way
To cut through all his worn out leather
I've got a hundred million reasons to walk away
But baby, I just need one good one to stay

Aye-eee-ayeee-ay-ayyee
Oh, baby I'm bleedin', bleedin'
Aye-eee-ayeee-ay-ayyee
Can't you give me what I'm needin', needin'
Every heartbreak makes it hard to keep the faith
But baby, I just need one good one
Good one, good one, good one, good one, good one

When I bow down to pray
I try to make the worse seem better
Lord, show me the way
To cut through all his worn out leather

I've got a hundred million reasons to walk away
But baby, I just need one good one, good one
Tell me that you'll be the good one, good one
Baby, I just need one good one to stay aye eee ayeee."

As I let the last cord hit I could feel tears fill my eye's. The crowd started clapping and cheering.

"That was amazing," I heard Sharon say.

"Star! That was beautiful," Simon said.

"Thank you," I told him.

"Your sister will be very proud. And you're getting a yes from me," he said.

"A yes from me too," Sharon said. As the other two gave me their yes I walk off the stage. I wipe away the stray tears.

"I did it Maria. I'm going to do it."

~Kind of lost inspiration after the song lol. Hope you liked it. Comment, Vote, or Share. Stay Beautiful!!!!
