Brandons Pov
After seeing Callie in the hall I walk downstairs to get some breakfast. "Morning B!" Mom (Stef) says as I grab a cup from the cobverd then walk over to the fridge to grab some orange juice. As I turn around from the fridge I see that Callie is now downstairs. "Good morning Cal." I say trying not to make my smile to obvious. "Morning to you too." Callie says back also trying not to laugh. We then exchange quick glances until we both burst out into laughter. Only because we are both thinking of how I almost ran into her half naked. "Whats so funny you two?" Mom (Stef) says. "Nothing!" We both say in unison. "Ok! Ok! Sorry I asked!" Mom (Stef) says putting her hands up as if saying i'll back off. We then exchange looks for the second time and I continue getting out breakfast. I then grab a bowl for both Callie and I and we each pour some cereal. I then sit myself down at the table and soon after, Callie sits down at the opposite side of the table. Breakfast goes on silently as I see Callie continuously looking down at her cereal then back up at me. After many minutes of us just glancing at each other everyone finally slowly piles into the kitchen. "Morning guys." Marianna says as she drags herself over to the fridge. Then shortly after Jesus and Jude slowly make there way to the table. "Wheres breakfast?" Jesus says sounding awfully tired. "How about you get up and make it yourself?" Mom (Lena) says coming into the kitchen. She then walks over to Mom (Stef) and kisses her cheek. "Morning Love." Mom (Stef) says. We then all continue our breakfast in silence, Not a bad silence but nice, pleasant almost. The silence is finally broken by the phone ringing. "I'll get it!" Jude yells as he hops of his chair and answers the phone on the sixth ring. "Hello…UhHuh…Yeah…..Yes…" he says and then hands the phone to Mom (Lena) "Hello. Yes this is Lena. Oh! Oh gosh! Ok I will be there in 15 minutes. Ok, Bye" She then hangs up the phone and says "Ok well guys I'm gonna have to go into school today." "But its a sunday!" Jude says making a pouty face. "Im sorry guys. The internet is down for some reason and we need to fix it before school tomorrow. And also Callie speaking of school I will enroll you again and you will continue as a Senior this year with B." I then try to hide my smile by looking down at the table but I dont think it worked so I played it off and said "Ok sounds good." Callie then nods and Mom (Lena) continues "Well I must be going. Goodbye everyone see you later! Love you all!" and in unison we all reply "Love you too!" and she's out the door. "Well Im afraid you all are on your own today because I have work." Mom (Stef) says as she grabs her uniform and buttons it up over her black T-shirt. "K see ya!" Jesus says waving happily. "Not so fast mister, Ok you all know the rules. No leaving the house without calling Lena or I first, Callie and B are in charge so listen to them." then Jesus immediately interrupts saying "Woah! Woah! Woah! Why are Callie and Brandon in charge?" "Because they are the oldest and definitely the most mature" Mom (Stef) says scolding Jesus but then looks over to Callie and I and winks. Callie then slightly laughs and so do I. "Well I must be off! Love you all! Bye!" She says getting up and walking out the door.
