Chp. 14
Stef's Pov
"I still can't believe we didn't expect anything." Lena says after she see's that Callie and Brandon have made there way upstairs.
"I mean they were such good "friends" I say adding air quotes to friends because they are definitely more than friends.
"Well they always hung out together.. Even before Callie left. And plus now that they mentioned it, At the wedding they didn't even talk to each other none the less interact in any way." Lena states. I groan in frustration. "Our son has found the one he loves. But the one he loves is his foster sister!" I say in frustration. "What do we do?" Lena asks.
"We let to people be happy and say to go for it, Or we don't allow it and Callie will become Brandon's future sister and they will never talk to each other again!"
This is when Is start thinking everything over. I know they are in love, I can see it in Brandon's eyes and the way he stood by her and was as confident as ever in telling us about them.
Then theres Callie, I can tell she really loves him too because I know Callie, She doesn't just open up to people about her feelings and act on them unless she is 100% sure about it.
Thats when I say "I think we should let them be together." "Wait so are we just going to throw away the whole adoption plan? And what about Jude?" Lena says obviously confused.
"We wouldn't throw the idea away completely. Just here me out on this okay?" "Fine." Lena says "How about we just adopt Jude and become Callie's legal guardians until she turns eighteen, and if Brandon and Callie are still together by then they can live there lives together or not together.
This way we don't have to separate Callie and Jude. And Brandon and Callie can be together." Lena nods in agreement and a smile pears on her face. "I can't believe our boy is in love!" she says almost chuckling.
"I know." I say back. "Lets go talk to them."
With that we head upstairs to talk to Brandon and Callie and tell them the news. We see they are not in Marianna and Callie's room so we head straight over to Brandon's room.
Callie's Pov
We are still laying here together. Im still scared out of my mind and Brandon is comforting me. I then here a knock on the door and my heart skips a beat. Brandon see's that my breath has caught and I'm frozen.
"Callie it's okay, I won't let them take you away from me." He says caressing my cheek.
Just his touch makes me feel better, He makes me feel safe. So I follow B off the bed and to the door.
Brandon opens the door to see Stef and Lena standing right in front of us. "If you came to tell me that we can't be together then just leave please." Brandon says holding me insanely close to his side.
"Actually we are allowing this relationship!" Lena says with a huge smile on her face. "Are you serious?" I ask in disbelief. "Yes, But we won't be adopting you just Jude, But we will become your legal guardians! You and B can be together."
I turn my head to see Brandon smiling ear to ear. He instantly envelops me into a hug and we just sit there hugging until I pull away and say "I love you so much" "I love you too." He says and crashes his lips to mine. He gives me a long lingering kiss, It was filled with so much love I couldn't help but smile against his lips. After a while we pull away and just stare into each others eyes.
We then snap out or trance when we hear someone Coughing loudly. "Oh uh sorry I say as I see Stef and Lena are still standing there. "Okay guys you know the rules. No being in each others rooms alone with the door closed. No Pda in front of us PLEASE!" Lena says emphasising on the word please. Brandon laughs and I smile at the comment "Oh yeah and do you guys need Condemns?" Stef asks. I see Brandon's smile go away to a look of embarrassment and I blush.
"MOM!" Brandon yells "Sorry, Sorry. But I'm taking that as a yes." she says back with no shame in her voice at all. Im serious the nerve of that woman.
"Well we better go explain to the others." B and I nod in response. "Guys family meeting pronto! Everyone get in the living room please!" Stef yells as her and Lena walk down the stairs. I am about to follow them down stairs when B pulls on my arm I spin into his chest. "I love you so much." "I love you too." I say and grab his hand and walk downstairs.
