Chp 19
Brandon's Pov
I wake up with the love of my life laying in my arms, Callie Jacob. I love her so much, I never want to let her go. I see she's still sleeping so I quietly get up pull some pants and a T-shirt on and walk downstairs.
Once I'm downstairs I grab a banana and some juice. I eat until the phone rings, So I walk over and pick it up. "Hello" I say into the phone "Hey Brandon, it's Mama's! How is everything?" Mom (Stef) says "Good, Great actually! Marianna went to Kelsey's last night and Jude and Jesus went over to Jakes. So it was just me and Cal last night." "Oh, Just you and Callie huh?" Stef says when I hear Lena chuckle in the background.
"Ha-Ha funny." I say in a sarcastic tone. "Oh my baby boy is growing up!!!" She screams through the phone. This makes me laugh a little but I quickly stop and change the subject, I ask "So, How was LA?" "It was good! Mamas got to see some old friends and we had a lovely dinner." Mom (Stef) says "Okay. Cool. Well I'm gonna finish breakfast. Love you!" I say "All right B, be home around noon. Love you sweets!" Mom (Stef) says "Okay Bye." And with that I hang up and finish my banana and juice.
A few minutes later I hear the door swing open. "WE ARE HOME!" Jude screams as he walks into the kitchen! "Hey guys! How was Jakes?" I ask Jude as he sits up on the counter stool. "It was great! Jesus and Jake taught me how to master this awesome new game!" Jude says with a wide smile as Jesus smiles at him. "Good!" I say and walk over to head upstairs.
As I am about to head upstairs I hear a knock at the door. I walk over to the door I open it to find to Police Officers standing in the door way. "May I help you?" I ask "There is no easy way to say this but," He paused then continued "We found a girl named Callie Jacob lying on the side of the road this morning, She was unconscious and she was surrounded in a pool of blood with a large gash on her head. We tracked her phone and recent calls and we found this home. Do you know her?" and at that moment it felt like my heart was ripped into a million pieces, I couldn't believe it. She was just upstairs sleeping. My eyes started to tear up and thats when I lost it. "No! I don't believe it! She was just upstairs sleeping! Where the hell is she!?"
I screamed at them "Woah slow down son. She is in the nearest hospital we contacted your parents, They will meet us there. How are you related to her?" "Ummmm I am her boyfriend." I say
"Okay well gather the rest of the family I will explain the rest to them on the way. I go and gather the family as fast as possible, They all seemed very confused but followed the officer into the police car without question. We got into the car wi'll the one of the officers told everyone what happened. I didn't listen I just laid my head back on the seat and cried. I didn't believe it was true. I didn't want to believe it was true because last night was one of the best nights of my life. I was with the the love of my life and now shes hurt! I cant even comprehend whats happened, The only thing I can do for now is cry.
