Chp 15
Brandons Pov
I still can not believe moms are letting us be together! I think as I walk downy the stairs with Callie close to my side. Once we get downstairs we head straight to the living room and Callie and I sit hand in hand on the couch next to moms.
Slowly everyone piles into the room. "This better be important because I was just about to beat a high score on my video game!" Jesus says super annoyed as he goes to sit in one of the chairs. "If it wasn't important moms wouldn't have called us all down here." Marianna says entering the room and sitting down on another chair.
"Look guys we all called you down here because we would like to talk about the adoption." Mom (Lena) says "But before we talk about that, Lets just get the elephant out of the room, Yes Brandon and Callie are holding hands, and yes they are dating." Mom (Stef) says
"EEEEEEP! I totally ship you too!" Marianna squeals with excitement. "Nice Bro hooking up with the foster sister." Jesus says with a grin. This makes moms give him the death glare and I can see that Jesus comment made Callie upset. So I tighten my grip on Callie's hand and say "Not Funny" then give him glare.
"God I was only joking. Don't need to get all angry." Jesus says back. "Well I love her a lot so when you say shit like that don't think I'm just gonna ignore it."
After I say this Jesus just nods in response.
"Do you really love her?" I hear a tiny voice say, I then realize its Jude. Man I forgot he was even in hear he was so quite.
"I love her so much if she wasn't in my life I would be broken beyond compare." I say answering his question.
After I say that he is silent for a while then looks over at Callie. "Do you love him?" Jude asks.
Callie then takes a deep breath looks straight into my eyes and says "More than I have ever loved anyone." this makes both of us smile we sit there looking at each other for a while until Callie finally looks back to Jude and so do I.
This is when Jude gets quiet and just stares at Callie and I.
"Jude now honey the only thing is, We would be adopting you, just not Callie, we would become her legal guardians until she is eighteen." Mom (Lena) says "REALLY?! GREAT! I am just happy that she is happy." Jude says bursting with excitement.
His smile then turns to a look of seriousness as he turns to face me. "But Brandon, If you hurt her, I hurt you.." This makes everyone laugh but I then say "No worries Jude that won't be a problem." This makes Jude smile and I see Callie is grinning from ear to ear.
"Well, Everyone to bed! Its monday tomorrow! Brandon you won't have a problem showing Callie around. Love you all go to bed." Mom (Lena) says "Night my loves." Mom (Stef) says "Night" we all say in unison and head upstairs.
I see Callie was about to go into her room when I grab her arm and pull her to my room. "Stay with me tonight?" I plead as I wrap my arms around her waist. "Hummmmm. Depends." She says smirking. "Yeah why?" I say "I don't know….." She says then crashes her lips to mine. I kiss back and brush my tongue on her bottom lip begging for entrance. Without any hesitation she lets me in and our tongues dance along with each others. We both finally pull away and rest our foreheads together. "I love you." I say to her. "I love you too." she says back I then take her hand and bring her over to my bed. We just lay there embracing each other until I say one last thing before sleep pulls me under. "I love you so much Callie Jacob."
