Chp 26
Brandons Pov
I wake up exhausted. After Callie woke up last night I hadn't slept much after that and now that I am up I highly doubt I'm going back to sleep. Its now 8:30 and I decided to check up on Callie.
I got up from my bed and walked over to Callie and Marianna's room. I quietly walked through the door and over to her bed. I sat down on the edge of her bed and just stared at her. I admired her face, how her hair falls perfectly over the side of her eyebrow and how she silently snores when she sleeps, I love her, and everything about her.
Callies Pov
I wake up to someone shaking me. "Callie, Hey Cal, wake up" I hear someone whisper from over me. I shift a little, rub my eyes and look up to see Brandon sitting at the end of my bed. He's looking over me and he looks tired but when I look up he smiles at me and I smile back.
"Good morning beautiful." He says as he leans over and kisses my forehead. "Good morning" I say and pull him close to me so I can kiss his lips. We kiss for a while until he pulls away and gives me a weird look.
"What?" I say
"Are you still sick?" I shake my head and smile at him "nope Im all better!" I say and pull him into another kiss but he again pulls away. I frown. Brandon then gets up from his spot on the bed and grabs the thermometer on the night stand. He comes back over to me and says "open up" I do as he says and open my mouth, he sticks the thermometer under my tongue and we wait until it beeps. After a couple minutes it does and he takes it out of my mouth. He smiles and sets the thermometer down on the bed and pulls me close to his chest. "Your good" he says and before I can say anything he pulls me into a long lingering kiss. We are interrupted by a pillow thrown at my backside. "What the fuck?" I yell and look over at Marianna who is now snuggled back under her covers. I roll my eyes and look back over at Brandon, he sighs and I just kiss his cheek and get up from my bed. Once I'm up I reach my hand out to B and he takes it, our fingers interlock as we head down the stairs. Once we get into the kitchen we see Lena, Stef, Jude, and Jesus sitting around the table. I let go of Brandons hand and walk over to Jude and hug him from the side and kiss his cheek.
"Good morning Jude" "Morning" he says back and continues to eat his cereal. "Morning everyone" Brandon says as he walks over to the fridge and gets out the orange juice and pours two glasses and hands one to me. "Thank you" I say and he smiles at me and nods.
"So... I see your feeling better." Stef says motioning her coffee cup towards me. "Yep" I say and flash her a smile. "Well I am very happy you are feeling better!" Stef says
I nod in response and continue sipping my juice.
"So what is everyone doing today?" Lena asks
"Well I was thinking now that Callie is feeling better I could take her on our first date of the summer." Brandon says
I smile at him and nod my head in agreement.
"I think thats a wonderful idea honey" Stef says "Okay cool well I'm gonna go get ready I will meet you down here in 5 minutes B" I say and head up the stairs. I get into me and Mari's room and see she's still sleeping. So I quietly walk over to the closet and grab a pair of jeans and a white tank top with lace over it. I put those on and throw my hair into a messy bun. I then grab some converse and head back downstairs.
When I get there B is leaning on the table already dressed and has his keys in his hand. "Ready to go?" He asks as I slip on my shoes and walk over to him. "Yeah" I say and he wraps his arm around my waist. "Be back by midnight!" Stef yells as we walk out of the house and get into his car.
Brandon starts the car grabs my hand and pulls out of the driveway.
I dont know where we are going but all I know is tonight is going to be long and full of love.
Authors Note- Hey everyone! I know I am so SO SUPER sorry I haven't updated in FOREVER! I have been super busy and sorry this chapter is kinda boring and sucks but next one will be better I promise!
