3rd Person's POV (Himoko is currently 4 in a half right now)
4 year old Himoko giggled loudly, jumping on her father's back who chuckled, adjusting her so she wouldn't fall off
"Daddy, Daddy! Tanya and Mommy aren't back yet from their ride, I'm getting worried." Himoko's Father smiled, standing up from his crouched position, noting to himself to take care of his vegetable patch later
"Now, now. You know Mommy and Tanya like going on long rides high up in the sky, so there is no need to worry. How about this, when they get back, we can go into town and watch a play, how about it?" Himoko nodded enthusiastically in agreement, excited about her father's suggestion
"Yes, OOO, Can we go and see Jungle Cats?" Himoko asked her father who nodded, placing Himoko down on the ground who jumped up in the air in excitement, kissing her father's cheek thanking him before running off to play with their tiny flock of baby bisons and lemurs. Himoko's Father, named Goan, smiled at his daughter as she played with the animals of their culture. Currently, the family has been living at a old breeding ground for Bisons, living in a house created by Goan's ancestors after the first set of attacks in annihilating all air benders, only they failed to do so. 3 families, including Goan's and his wife, Mia's ancestor family, survived. Them tasking themselves with carrying on the Air Nomads traditions and line, to keep the spirit up even after the Avatar's disappearance. Only, over time- Fire Nation Soldiers have been hunting them down until only 3 Air Nomads are left, them being, Goan, Mia, and their little daughter, Himoko.
It's been hard for the trio, but they make do, grow their own food and make their own clothing, going into town if absolutely necessary. Some times even on special occasions. Himoko's 5Th Birthday was tomorrow, and the couple was going to celebrate it by letting Himoko pick out her own Sky Bison, even though the tradition was usually held at age 9, they wanted to give Himoko the privilege of doing that before anything else, knowing full well they may not even be there to celebrate her 9Th Birthday.
Goan turned back around to continue tending to his garden, watering the vegetables and pulling weeds wherever he may find them. After about 10 minutes, a familiar roar reached his and his daughter's ears, the roar of Tanya the Sky Bison. Himoko stood up before running over to where Goan was, him standing up just in time to pick her up, resting her on his hip. Goan waved once he saw his wife, Mia, flying with Tanya, many bags sat on top of the saddle behind her. Mia waved back before rounding Tanya around before landing her about 35 feet away from them. Goan walked over to Tanya, Himoko bubbly with joy as she watched her mother climb down the Sky Bison, her feet hitting the ground
"Sorry I was gone for so long, the fishes didn't seem to bite a lot today." Mia apologized, kissing Goan's cheek before grabbing Himoko from out of his grasp, kissing her fore head lightly
"No need for apologies. I'm just glad you are back home safe and sound." Mia nodded at her husband, Tanya yawning before laying on her side, the bushels of fish falling out of the saddle and onto the ground, some of the contents spilling out. Mia and Goan chuckled, shaking their heads at the her
"I will take care of this, go ahead and spend some time with Himoko."
"You sure? Because I don't mind helping with the fish-"
"I'm sure, besides Himoko has been waiting for you to come home all day, she has been begging me to play house with her but-" Mia sighed, nodding in understanding
"Fine, but tonight you're making dinner and washing." Mia told Goan, sticking her tongue out at him childishly before walking away, speaking to Himoko who happily spoke back, telling her mother a random story about the lemurs excitedly. A few hours later, they went into town to watch the theatre, Goan and Mia wearing clothing that would conceal their air bending master tattoos, no matter hot warm out it was. Himoko and Mia patiently waited for Goan to finished paying for the tickets to the show, Goan tipping his hat at the seller in thanks before walking over to them, grabbing Himoko's other hand before they walked into he theatre to see half of the seats were already taken. They studied the seats, looking for the best ones for them before walking up to where the booths were located, Himoko basically jumping out of her skin in excitement, her silver colored eyes glimmering with admiration towards her parents.
