Himoko's POV

"Am I the only one dying of heat over here?"

"Sorry, I will leave the vicinity-" Sokka receives a biff at the back of his head from yours truly. I gave him a playful glare as we walked down the path. The obnoxious heat killed me from the outside and ripped through my insides, making me visibly uncomfortable and wanting nothing more than to rip all of my clothing off (Not in a perverted way) then my skin as well (Not in a cannibal way).

"You have been unusually flirty all of a sudden." I hummed, snapping my finger, "Actually, more like failing to be flirty."

"Aww, am I not good enough at it?" Sokka questioned with a small pout. I gave him a strange look, breathing out of my nose as I looked to Katara.

"Hey Katara, do you have a ribbon or elastic band on you? I would like to get my thick hair off of the back of my neck, it's making this heat worse." Katara looked to me and smiled, nodding. "Yeah of course." She dug through her pocket before producing a blue ribbon. I grabbed it out of her hand before running my fingers through my hair, slowly down my strides so I could focus on getting my hair up. I pulled it back, slightly struggling to tie the ribbon as I was not used to it, I preferred elastics but, when out in the world you don't usually have the courtesy of coming upon them. I let out a frustrated huff, about ready to just be like screw it and cut all of my hair off before I felt fingers touching mine, stalling me for a moment.

"Here, let me help." Sokka told me as we both stopped, him standing behind me. I slowly let my arms come back down to my sides as he took over on putting my hair up, leaving my bangs out stylishly.

He tied the ribbon easily around my hair, giving me a moderately high ponytail. I turned my head back forth, feeling my hair go along with my movement and swaying against my back. This certainly relieved me of any heat, luckily.

"Thank you." I thanked him, watching him smile as he placed a small kiss at my temple. "Of course.".

"This should give us a good idea of what's around here." Katara stated as we came upon a notice board, wanted posters and papers for people looking for work displayed on it.

"See if you can find a menu, I'm starving." Sokka stated, dumping the rest of the contents of jerky into his mouth.

"Sok, you just finished a whole bag of jerky, how can you still be hungry?" He merely shrugged at my question, "What can I say? Fast metabolism?" Aang runs in front of me, stopping to point at one of the posters.

"I bet we'll find something to eat here! The Fire Days Festival. Fire Nation cultural exhibits... Jugglers, benders, magicians. This'd be a great place for me to study some real firebenders!"

"Great, more heat." I deadpanned.

"You might wanna rethink that. Look at this." Sokka points at a wanted poster, which showed Aang. I could feel my own jaw drop, staring at the wanted poster beside it.

"Hey, a poster of me!"

"A wanted poster. This is bad." I reached up and grabbed the wanted poster beside it, staring down at it.

"Well, teach looks like we are in the same boat." Aang looks over my shoulder, his own eyes widening. "You have one too?!"

"Probably from when Zhao captured us..." I muttered, turning it over and frowning, seeing writing that wasn't the same font as to what was on the front.

'Be careful, Princess. -Guard' It read. I quickly folded it up before the others could see the mysterious writing. Placing it into my pocket, opposite to my dagger.
