Katarina stared at Ashe. Her body felt like it was suddenly frozen, her limbs becoming stiff, her posture becoming rigid.

Was she hearing right?

Did Ashe really forget about her?

Does Ashe not remember her?

Their relationship?

"Don't you remember me?"

Ashe shook her head. "I can't say I do."

"Not even my name?"

She didn't give Ashe a chance to answer the question though.
"It's me! Katarina Du Couteau, daughter of General Du Couteau."

Ashe's face mildly lit up with recognition, and Katarina wanted to celebrate.

"You're Talon and Cassiopeia's sister." The Avarosa stated with a small smile. "You're the new transferee I've heard about."

Katarina deflated visibly, her plans for celebrating, gone in an instant. She let go of Ashe's face and let her head trail downward, hearing the door of the room open from the background.

"Ashe!" Lux squealed happily.

Before Lux could reach the hospital bed, Katarina was already off of it. She wobbled slightly and Leona steadied her with one hand, a concerned look on the Solari's face.

"Are you alright, Katarina?"

She pursed her lips in tight line, her head still bowed down and hair serving as a curtain to hide behind. Tears slowly ran down her face, concealed by her hair.

But Leona saw a tear drop from her face and onto the floor.

"Katarina...-!"

"She doesn't remember me." She gritted out before she walked past Leona.

"Hey, Katarina, wait!" Leona called out, but the redhead was gone.

"Leona," She heard Ashe call, so she turned around and faced the Avarosa.

"Ashe?"

"I didn't know you were friends with the new Du Couteau."

Vi laughed at this while the others shot Ashe looks of confusion.

"Seriously, Ashe? Ha! We're friends with her alright! But you're practically banging her, right?" Vi teased with a grin before she mildly winced when Caitlyn elbowed her afterwards.

"What do you mean? And, who are you?"

"Ashe," Caitlyn interjected. "This is Vi, my girlfriend."

"Oh, so you are in a relationship. I didn't know."

"Yes, you do, Ashe." Caitlyn stated, crossing her arms and auditing her state.

"Wait," Fiora joined in. "What's the last thing you remember?"

Ashe thought for a moment before answering.

"Tomorrow's the first day of school."

Ashe was confused. Her friends had explained that she was in a car accident that she doesn't even remember. All she knew is that it's supposedly the first day of school tomorrow and nothing else.

She was even surprised that Caitlyn is actually in a relationship with one of the students in class 3-D, Vi Stalwart.

Leona had also surprised her when she mentioned in passing that she's currently dating a Lunari that goes by the name Diana.
