ACT 28
After much persuasion, Shen finally signed Ashe's release form earlier than the scheduled time. Ashe instantly dressed into the casual set of clothes Lissandra had left for her. After a quick call to her father to tell him about the hospital bills and her unexpected early departure from the hospital, she and Katarina left the hospital and traveled to Noxus using Katarina's Ducati.
Katarina didn't stop her drive to Noxus, and Ashe uttered not a single word on stopping her. She merely tightened her hold around Katarina's waist as they rode down the highway, swerving through gaps between cars, trucks and other vehicles.
After hours and hours of traveling, the city lights of Noxus came into view and Katarina made sure to push her Ducati to its very limit. The two of them arrived at Noxus Hospital in the exact time of 7:02 a.m.
As soon as the Ducati was parked and secured, Katarina and Ashe rushed inside the building. If it weren't for Ashe stopping her with a tug, she would have went straight to the area where the operation rooms are.
"Excuse me." Ashe called out for the receptionist.
The receptionist, who is a guy and is currently chatting, or flirting, with the nurse at the other side, merely gave Ashe a signal, telling her to wait without even glancing at her direction.
"Sir, this is urgent." Ashe said, giving Katarina's impatient and tapping foot a glance.
"Yeah, yeah, wait a sec," The guy called out again, waving his hand dismissively.
"Sir," Ashe tried again, but was given another wave of dismissal.
Katarina was about to snap at the receptionist, but Ashe surprisingly snapped first. Ashe abruptly grabbed the nearest wooden clipboard and whipped it down to the edge of the table, the wood splintering all over and making a loud noise and echo throughout the lobby.
Everyone in the lobby either jumped or winced in surprise, their attention turning to the receptionist's desk. The receptionist now looked at Ashe with fear shining in his eyes.
"Now that I have your attention," Ashe's intimidating voice came. "Where is General Marcus Du Couteau's room?"
The receptionist returned to his seat and started typing, occasionally giving Ashe glances.
"Uhh, General Du Couteau just got out of surgery. He's being moved to room 409 as we speak."

Instead of knocking, Katarina just grabbed the door handle and swung the door open, her other hand firmly clutching one of Ashe's hands. When they entered, they found Marcus laying on the hospital bed, unconscious. Cassiopeia is currently seated on the chair beside the bed, Darius and Draven perched at the sofa at the side.
Ashe ushered Katarina forward, letting her hand go from her grasp. While Katarina approached her father, Ashe decided to sit idly beside her lover's sister.
"Where's Talon?" Ashe asked in a murmur.
"Talon's on his way."
Ashe watched as Katarina held the metal frame beside the bed until her knuckled became white.
"I assume you remember everything?" Cassiopeia asked in a low volume, glancing at her.
Ashe nodded. "I did. Just last night, actually."
Cassiopeia flashed a small and sad smile. "That's good."
"Who did this to him?" Katarina abruptly questioned through clenched teeth.
