The trio of friends mumbled to themselves. They had been given a room to each of them and to say the least, they couldn’t be happier. Unfortunately, a comment that Balthier stirred things up and not in a good way.
Reno frowned. “What did you just say?”
Balthier stood up and sighed. “I said that maybe...I can have a chance with [Name].”
Upon hearing this again, the other males growled in desperation which actually startled Balthier for a second, until he furrowed his eyebrows. “Don’t tell me...” He began but upon not receiving a response nor even a glance, it was clear their response. “Since when?”
Gippal glanced at Reno and since Reno didn’t seem to say anything he exhaled. “Since we were kids...I don’t know...it’s just that we spent so much time with her that I...sort of fell in love with her.” At the end he admitted.
Reno sat down again. “Same here, is just that I-WE know her well enough...that I don’t know yo.’ I knew I felt something for her, I just didn’t know what it was. I always thought that it was just love for a friend but when she was assumed to be dead, I felt that I couldn’t live with out her.”
Balthier took a seat as well. They have been friends since kids and no matter how much they knew each-other, it seemed that they very good actors to hide their feelings. “I know. I knew I had a thing for her yet I never made a move since...well...I was too dumb to realize how amazing she is. I was too hurt when she was assumed dead that I decided to move on, to try to forget her but trying to get married.”
They soon fell in silence, none saying a thing. It was then the Gippal stood up with a glare. “If you think that just because you are my friends I will let you try to earn her affection, you are wrong.” He barked.
Reno offered a glare of his own. “You just read my mind.”
Balthier didn’t stay behind, he stood up and headed to the door. “The same goes for me, I will fight for her, I won’t give up.” And with that, he left to his room. Reno followed after not even bothering to say anything. If you were here, the hint of a war among friend had taken place, and you would have prevented it by saying how stupid they were but unfortunately, you were not there.

Snow,Leon,Hope and the girls had to share a room. No matter how much you pleaded to stay in the castle, Lightning had refused.
The room was crowded but it would serve its purpose to rest for the night. But since he wasn’t exactly sleepy he left the room to take some fresh air to think about things that had been happening. Not long after though, the group joined him with the exception of Vanille who was probably sleeping. Hope had taken a spot at his side while Leon took the other. Paine and Lightning sat a few feet away.
“What are you thinking?” Hope asked watching the stars.
