“So, our main goal is to get one of the crowns which is the Prince’s crown. Most of the time he doesn’t wear it and leaves it at his chamber. His window is always left open but is just outside which is guarded, but we have our advantages. Usually they leave a gap of about a minute, a minute that we can use to get in and get out. Is as simple as that.”Balthier gave the details.
Well that wasn’t exactly what you were expecting; you were actually thinking that you would raid the King’s gold reserve but the crown?” What?" Stupefied you asked."Why just the crown exactly?” The plan sounded to be simple enough but there was a big risk just for a crown, the king would probably make more personal.
Balthier sighed not quite happy either.”I know it doesn’t sound as much but the crown itself is worth enough as to feed all of us for years. Our original plan was to raid the gold reserve but since the other Prince is here there are even more guards around, making the place more secure.”
You thought for a second," So all your investigation and all your efforts were wasted for nothing?"
Gippal nodded and from the look in his face he wasn’t happy either.”We had to change things."The look on your face told him to go on, as if you were expecting to tell you something else."Look, it’s better than nothing and this will actually take us less time, it’ll be fast.”At the end he added a smile just to encourage you.
With a mere shrug you agreed.” I guess you’re right.So, when exactly?”
At first they glanced from one to another.”It has to be done just when the sun is rising, it is when the prince is up and he does whatever he does. He leaves the crown behind which is why we need to mo move fast. I know it is more dangerous.”
“Alright, if everything is ready.” Now all of you stood up and you expected them to leave since they didn’t stay for too long but that wasn’t what they did, they just stared at you with an expecting stared.”What?”
This time they groaned.”Really, [Name]? You’re just going to pretend like nothing happened?” Gippal asked rubbing his temples obviously stressed. Your silence was enough for him to continue.” Your father, he was arrested and was guilty of the charges of aggression and attempt of rape.”
The news had come quite late actually, you had hoped that the charges would be announced sooner but you were wrong. “So? He’s going to get what he deserves.”

Well, you thought it was important but you seriously didn’t want to tell them that your own father had tried to rape you, it wasn’t easy to tell that to someone else.
