Eyes turned to the side, then to the other side. It was actually funny how Leon glared at the male and the others would just glance from you to Leon not sure what was going to happen. Not to mention that lack of silence made it even more comical-to you-. The male on the ground was still unconscious but you weren’t which meant that you were going to deal with what Leon had to say.
It was then that the woman, who you defended, stood in-front of you and she was rather intimidated by the glance Leon gave her.”Leon...[Name] defended us. When you left, they came and expected us to give them money...it was then [Name] came and helped us.” The woman offered trying to help you from whatever Leon was going to say to you but really, you had nothing to worry, right? You did protect the woman’s husband from getting killed.
“Dina, go inside there is a matter that I need to settle.” He warned pondering on his next move. Dina didn’t need to be told again, she nodded and headed home with her husband. That only left you, Leon and the unconscious male. Once his orbs landed on you, the glare intensified.” Who exactly are you?” he asked you with a rather cold voice. As you opened your mouth to spill your lies, he narrowed his eyes and took a step forward.” Think two about lying to me.”
What could you do? You laughed nervously.”Well...Where to start?...” You asked looking away.
He paused for a moment and retreated back. It was strange his sudden action so you glanced at him and the glare actually made freeze. If looks could kill, you would be dead by and buried by now.”It’s you. You are the one who stole that crown aren’t you?” he asked in a forced voice, he was too pissed to even speak.”Take the hood off. You are no different than those thieves.”
Now your face turned serious and with anger, you actually took your hood of revealing your face..”Listen, I am a thief but a thief who brings no harm to innocent people!” You defended giving a glare of yours.”I am nothing like them!”
You defending did nothing to calm Leon down.”I want you out right now or I’ll do it myself.”
That pissed you off.” You know what? Go to hell! You claim to protect these people? Where were you when they needed you?!” You asked enraged that you were being punished for a good deed. By now he furrowed his eyebrows but you only left him behind, if they wanted you out then it was fine. You only needed to say goodbye to Iris and leave, it was about time to go home anyway...but you still needed to see the rest of the crown, but you would manage.
“No!” The woman and man that you helped yelled running to stop you.”No! Please let her stay....she protected us..”She trailed off standing now at your side.
Leon refused and the argument went like this for a moment until Snow, Hope and Lightning showed but.”What is going on?” Finally Lightning asked but from the glare you received, it was nothing good. Leon explained the situation and from Lightning’s expression, you had to leave this place.
“Wait.” Snow commented thinking.”Then they huddled together and talked for a minute or so and they glanced back at you until a decision was made.”So, she stays?” he finally asked out loud so that you could head. The others nodded and Snow seemed quite content with the decision.
So things actually changed during the past few days, Leon and the others would constantly glare when you were at sight. Well, maybe not all of them, Snow would smile but still, it was evident that they didn’t trust you. The man you had saved from those thieves turned out to be a smith and he offered to make you a weapon since you had none. It wasn’t the best, but the sword he gave you would suffice in protecting yourself.
