"Toby" Spencer said approaching him. She was almost certain he had already left for Maine to start his drama free life with Yvonne. She was upset about it, she wasn't gonna lie, but all she cared about was Toby's safety, and the farther away he was from Spencer, the better.
"Hey." He replied awkwardly. He felt really bad about what happened the other night, he shouldn't have told her he was building her the house then tell her he loves another girl and might never see Spencer again.
"I-I Thought you were in Maine." She felt bad. She walked up here to see the house Toby had built for her and with her luck, there he is.
"Umm, yeah I was but I needed to come back. Say goodbye to everyone."
"Oh."
"Yeah, well what are you doing here?"
She sighed, lying to him would just be wasting her breath. "Well, I came here for closer. When you left my house telling me that the house was for me, but you were leaving. I couldn't stop crying, so everyday I've been coming here for closer. I know it sounds stupid, but Its the last thing I have from you," She said, tears dotting her mocha eyes.
" I'm so fucking stupid." Toby laughed.
"What?"
"I have been running around, trying to chase this girl, praying she would be the perfect one. But little did I know I was chasing the wrong girl." He replied walking towards her.
"Toby...." She said as he walked over to her, leaving them only inches apart.
"Would it be okay if I kissed you?" He asked, her heart skipped a beat. She looked into his eyes and lifted her head towards her kissing him softly on the lips, it was the best kiss they had ever shared.
Once they broke apart he pulled a key from his back pocket and placed it in Spencer's hand.
"Toby?"
"Listen, Spence. I don't want too make your life hell, like I had before, so please. Find a good man who will love you like I do. Raise a family..."
"Toby..." She said tears pooling in her eyes.
"Please don't leave Toby, your all I have left and I understand your in love with Yvonne, but I just really need you right now, she please, please don't leave."
"Spence.... I love you, and I'm not leaving." He said kissing her head.
"I love you too."
