He missed everything about her.
The way her brown locks felt twisted around his fingers.
Her laugh
Her smile
The way her lips taste.
Just everything about her.
She was a princess to him.
And maybe, if he stayed. She would still be safe in his arms. But once again, he fucked up.
It all started with Spencer going of to Washington. He knew it would have been a smart idea to go along with her, cause long distance relationships usually don't work out.
But of course, he was stubborn, and didn't decided his job was more important.
They visited often, one or two weeks of the month at the most he was with her.
When Toby started getting to a higher level in his job; there was less time for him to go visit her, and when he did, every moment counted. But he didn't know one certain visit would change everything for the two.
"Baby!" She squealed bouncing of the small, twin sized Mattress of her dorm. She flew into his arms.
She faster than a bottle rocket.
He held onto her, knowing he could only spend a few days with her, unlike there other visits.
Toby booked them a hotel room Off in New York City, knowing it would be a good romantic gesture. They needed that.
They stayed in the comfortable king sized mattresses most of the trip, only getting up to use the restroom or get the food from take-out or room service.
On the third day, the two drove back to D.C. Toby was planned to leave the next day, until something stopped him.

He pulled back her brown hair and rubbed her back in small circles as she let out the remains of her lunch.
Once they finish. She begged him to go to the pharmacy and go get a pregnancy test. And though it left a uneasy feeling in his stomach, he did so.The longest three minutes ticked by, when the alarm went off.
It was positive.
Toby knew for a fact he wasn't ready to be a father. But he couldn't let Spencer know that.
She fell asleep in his arms that night.
He silently slipped out of the dorm room and left.
Three years later, he was deeply regretting it.
Ever since he left her that night, he hadn't been the same.
He was drinking. Getting drunk every night.
He was also getting involved with popping pills and some marijuana. He knew it was dangerous, but did he care. No.
The drugs ran through his veins. He knew he had
overdosed, he had meant to. Because of what he did. He had lost everything.

She held the small toddler on her hip. She tried to forget how much her daughter, Violet looked like her father. But every time she looked at her, she felt like she was staring right in his deep, ocean blue eyes.
