This was requested by hannahcloughx and basically what she asked is that Toby goes to Maine for work, he never gets in a car crash and there's no Yvonne. So basically what she asked is Toby leaves work earlier than expected and came back to rosewood only to find out Spencer was shot.

So I'm gonna kinda play this out like when Lexi died on grey anatomy and like it pretty much will be what mark said to her, I did this because that's my other otp that was killed off, don't you love Shonda and Marline?
Toby knocked lightly on the wooden door of the barn. Spencer had called him ten minutes ago asking if he could come over, she said she needed to talk to him. So of course, he hopped on his truck and drove to the Hastings estate, where Spencer currently stayed.
The sound of feet pattering got louder as she came to open the door.
"Toby, come in." She said moving out of the way of the door. He walked in and stood on the opposite of Spencer.
"So what's up?" He asked. Ever since she'd came back from Washington, tension has risen. Both were still single, couldn't find love. Spencer dated Caleb briefly, and had a small fling with Marco Fury, Toby's boss.
And it was so obvious the two were still in love, they were just to afraid to admit so.
"I need to tell you something, something really really important," she began "I'm still in love with you. I've never stopped, actually. Ever since I gave back the ring, I've regretted everything. I'm sorry Toby. I love you so so much."
*FLASHBACK*
"Spencer, I love you more than I've ever loved anyone. I would do anything for you, your my world, no. Universe. You mean so much to me, that it's scary. I would kill someone just to wake up to your face every morning, to feel your arms wrap around my waist as I make up breakfast in the morning. Spencer Jill Hastings, will you marry me?"
Tears formed in her eyes, not the tears she was use too. These were happy tears. "Yes!" She squealed, allowing him to slide the ring on her finger.
He sprung up and grabbed her small body, kissing her passionately.

It had been three months since the two had last seen each other, and it was obvious they were growing apart. They no longer talked every night. After saying goodbye on the phone,he never said I love you, like he usually did.
Spencer decided to do what was needed. So she drove back to Rosewood on the weekend the break the news.
"Spence hey!" Toby said after she knocked on the door to his loft.
"Hey," she said quietly. " I need to talk to you about something."
"Anything."
"I think we should break up, we haven't seen each other in over three months and we don't communicate the same. We haven't since I left for school, and when you proposed, I thought there was hope. But I don't think that's happening. Find someone who can Love you like I did. I'm sorry." She said slipping off the ring and walking out the door.
Toby broke down. When he saw her on the other side of the door, he was thrilled. But now, he was wishing she didn't even come back."
