"The idea is that all the kids go to a public school for the year. It would be perfect for them to be with other kids their own age. Plus I don't have kids or anything at my school. I don't know if my dad would allow me to stay here the year. And I can see that the guys would enjoy the athletic department and the girls would love the cheer leading. Please?" I beg of her. She seems to be in deep thought for a few whole minutes. Deep in thought she looks off to the distance, and you can tell she is deep in thought. After a few long moments she snaps out of her haze and she nods with a small smile on her face.
"Deal. I will tell everyone right now." She walks over to the fire pit and stands on the side with the most campers.
"Excuse me. May I have your attention?" She doesn't ask, but says with a tone that you can't help but pay attention to her.
"I have had an idea brought to my attention. I have decided, you all should go to public school." Alot of people are showing happiness, while others don't care.
"And by you all, I mean the campers who stay here all year. We will make arrangements for everyone to have places to stay and you will leave in three days time." She says, turning and heading to her office, probably making phone calls. I walk over to Jeremy and see he is one of the ones with a happy expression.
"Was it you that brought the idea to her?" He asks with playfulness in his voice.
"Maybe it was. Whatchya gunna do about it?" I ask him joking around. Tally and Nate come over to us and I tell Nate about the sports and Tally about cheer leading.
"I'll try out if you do." Tally tells me. I snort in reply.
"At camp I may be cool and normal, but once school starts, I turn into a dork. I read Harry Potter fan fiction, have only one friend, and keep to music." I tell them, recalling my memories of the years past. They all have a sad expression on their faces.
"I know for a fact all three of you will be invited by Brittany to sit at the 'cool table' within the first day.She has made my life at school hell." I explain to them. Jeremy wraps an arm around me and pulls me in close.
"I don't know about you two but I would ditch cheer leading if it meant being with you" Tally says coming over and wrapping an arm around my wait looking at me with a smile of friendship.
"You think I would leave you for her?" Jeremy asks like it is the most stupid question ever. Nate has the same reaction.
"Let's make a deal. By the time school starts, I will have you looking so amazing, this Brittany chick with be sorry for messing with you." Tally tells me with confidence I could never have one stepping on school grounds.
"If there is one thing you should know, Brittany is captain of the cheer squad and her boyfriend Bradly Spencer is captain of every sports team there is. How about this. Wanna tell me what you all like to do?" I offer after my mini speech. With the dropping temperature I snuggle further into Jeremy. They all nod.
"I like sports. It's kinda obvious" Nate replies. We all laugh a little at that.
" I like cheer leading. I was on a squad for five years running till I came to camp." She states proudly. Nate leans down and kisses her on the cheek, making her giggle.
"I like to play music." Jeremy pipes up. We all are shocked.
"Don't act surprised. I may love hockey but I also like to play music." He tells us.
"What instrument do you play?" I ask him. He hangs his head, trying to hide his blush.
"Bass and guitar." He says. I lean up and whisper in his ear, loud enough only for him to hear.
"I think that's hot" He wraps his arm around my waist and I kiss him on the cheek. I stand on my feet once again and face the group.
"So Nate. Bradley Spencer will be your competition. Brittany will be Tally's and Jeremy. Nobody plays music so you are good, but I recommend rep hockey since you are good at it." I say, lifting up the sleeve of his shirt to show off his biceps. Tally gasps.
"DUDE I NEVER KNEW YOU WERE RIPPED!" She yells at him. Jeremy wraps me up in his arms to hide himself.
"Wait. Ella. What are you going to do?" Nate asks once we all stopped laughing at Jeremy. It took a few kisses to make him open up again, but it was worth it.
"Well I'm not really sure." I tell them. They look taken back.
"You are amazing at dancing so cheer leading wouldn't be hard since it is the same but with aerial in it." Tally points out.
"And you are amazing at sports. That was proven earlier." Nate makes his point.
"And I haven't heard you sing but I bet you sound like an angel." Jeremy says while resting his head on my shoulder.
"Sing something for us Ella." Tally asks. I hesitate but decide to do it since they would hurt me if I didn't.
Let the rain fall down
And wake my dreams
Let it wash away
My sanity
'Cause I wanna feel the thunder
I wanna scream
Let the rain fall
I'm coming clean
Once I finish that little bit, their mouths are hanging a little open. I look around and start to shrink back.
"That was amazing. Looks like we know what you are doing." Jeremy tells me hugging em.
"What?" I ask them. They look at me like I am stupid.
"All three" They tell me at once
I can remember writing these chapters and it's crazy to think how long ago I wrote them...
