Kaleb follows me down into my girl-cave. When we walk into the room I notice him stopping at the door frame, taking it all in. It is painted a dark purple, with little silver stars all around the room. There is a giant leather couch, a ping pong table, a pool table, and an air hockey table in one corner, a flat screen t.v in the middle of the wall with all my consoles and games on shelves below it and surrounding it, my movies on the other wall in a cabinet that usually hold china. In the other corner, there is a mini bar with a popcorn machine and a fully stocked candy shelf, along with a fountain containing all my favorite drinks, and to top it all off, it's all for me.

"This room, this room is amazing." Kaleb says as he walks around, taking it all in. I sit on the couch amused at his reaction.

"What do you want to do first? Get food, play a video game, watch a movie or play on a table?" I ask him as he walks over to the concession and looks at the drink selection. He is about to reply when my dad calls us through the intercom.

"Time for dinner kids." He tells us before turning it off.

"Let's go." I tell him as I drag him away from my consoles so I don't get guy slobber on them. By day at school I am the lonely nerd girl but once I get home, hair goes up, game goes on.

Once we get upstairs, I see my dad has made pasta salad and chicken. I walk over and give him a quick hug and thank him for dinner. I get a plate from the stack and start serving my food.

Once we all have our food, i sit down and start eating. About halfway through,  his parents continue to make small talk with my dad. He replies politely and they move to me to ask questions to.

"So, your father tells us you went to a summer camp this past few months. How was it?" His mother asks me, wiping her mouth with a napkin and taking a sip of her water. I tell them the good parts of the summer and skip all the bad things. Once I am finished, I look at my father and see him smile with appreciation I didn't tell them what happened with him.

"Kaleb is going to be joining your year at school." His father pipes in. I look at him and he stabs his pasta and eats it.

"Well my friends from camp wouldn't mind a new friend joining the group." I tell them with a smile. Kaleb looks up at me with relief and thanks filling his eyes.

"But he would be better off making friends with the popular kids. I'm not that popular or liked at the school." I tell them looking into Kalebs' eyes. His eyes show no response so he looks down and continues to eat.

"That's great! Oh look at the time! We have to get going but it was lovely meeting all of you!" His mother says getting up from her chair. Her husband and son follow her to the door to get their shoes on. Once they left dad tells me to go and relax till bed time. I go downstairs and turn on my Xbox. I put in COD Zombies and start playing. I made it to round 23 before my dad calls me to let me know it is time for bed. I play until I die, which is level 29. I walk up the stairs and tell my dad I dies in my games and good night then walk up the stairs. After getting ready for bed I plop down on my bed and look up at my blue canopy bed. I feel tired and let slumber claim me.

This one isn't as bad as I thought it would be
